Dont know why theres no sun up in the sky
Stormy weather

It's raining today, rather hailing with a little rain mixed in. But, it's a natural site this time of year, especially where I live.

Since getting my new divination toys as I mentioned in my last blog, I have had plenty to keep me pre-occupied while on my Spring break. I must admit, I do not miss work, and am enjoying getting to 'play'. This is rare in my life, the getting to 'play' part. The only fun I normally have is the enjoyment I bring to others through education and divination.

I went on and on about my new bloodstone runes in my last blog, so I will not start that again...but, probably will be mentioning the subject more often. I still haven't heard from anyone out there that knows about runes, but I have already had a spiritual bond with them. Now to get my new grounding cloth 'grounded'...if I'm understanding the system correctly? See! There's a great example of help needed...so, if you have some pointers, I'm all ears.

At this point, I've got a few systems that I'm working with and find them very satisfying. Ok, new subject...for now.

I was working on my 'Tarot Spells' listing last night, and something occured to me...you can't just go around casting spells without doing a divination first. I mean, any type I suppose would do, but a Tarot Divination is my choice and suggestion. So, how to remedy this and keep the listing? On my listing page, you will now see an option for a 'Tarot Contemplation' reading via e-mail prior to ordering your Spell. This is only $1.99. This doesn't in no way imply the reading isn't valuable, but I am willing to sacrifice a little if you are indeed interested in my 'Spell-Casting' service.

I must admit I enjoy stopping by the Adviser forum occasionally. I've been known to even start a topic or join in on one. As usual, I checked the latest postings yesterday. There is such good advice to be found from reading replies. Things you never thought about and know will be of help to you at some point or another.

With this being pointed out, now I read where a new adviser, or 'newbie' as we're called, has asked for guidance from more experienced readers. Is this unusual? I would think not, but what really dropped my jaw was a reply from an adviser that has been with the company for quit awhile...one I would consider knowledgeable on KEEN customers and things they say, ask, etc. This adviser had to say, more or less in these words (and I'm not quoting)..."if you don't know how to deal with a client, then you shouldn't be taking their money". How true this may or may not be is indeed between the client and the adviser THEY chose...don't you think? Well, I just couldn't forget reading this and have been thinking about it off and on since I first read it.

If you are the one that wrote that and wish to respond back, please feel free to e-mail, as I do not desire any negativity and work very hard to keep it out of my life (with certain balance, of course). However, don't feel the need to 'explain', I am really not judging, more of an observation.  Seems like a great opportunity for a lesson to be learned!

I do not feel as though you would call them 'wise' words to give someone, those, seem more 'mean', more of a tough love approach...to each their own.  You know what they say...MEAN PEOPLE SUCK.

OK, so enough on that...I'm sure it was just misinterpreted, as I want to believe that instead...so it's done!

Visual Motivation Creates Winners!

When I coach a student to compete in gymnastics (my 'other' job), I stress that they imagine that they are not themselves, with their self-doubt, but rather someone that is great to them...someone who if was in their shoes would not only do the job, but do it better than anyone else...who would that be?

Once the idol has been identified, I then encourage them to BE that person, and do what that person would do during a competition. Do you know this works, and my athletes generally place in the top.

This theory...this philosophy, if you will, can be applied to your everyday life when you feel the mountain is just too high to climb and would rather give up than even try.

Creative visualization! I didn't create this, it's been a natural gift we've all had. You have it too...

So, you can't climb that mountain? Then, who, in your opinion, could? And how would that person do it? Become that person...achieve & accomplish.

Dear Cupid

Fun Childrens Game

& All Adults 'child-like' in Spirit!!!

All you need to ask Cupid a question is something to write with and something to write on.

Now, let's write a letter to cupid! Begin your letter by writing it as you would a letter to anyone else. At the top, write 'Dear Cupid,"

Now on the next line, ask Cupid your question. For example: "Will Bobby Ask Me To The Prom?"

Now, writing your letters underneath the question, this time going down vertically, write:

D =                               C =

E =                                U =

A =                                 P =

R =                                   I =

                                        D =

You will notice there are two D's...they will have the same numeric value, the same answer.

Starting with the letter 'D' in your first row, count and cross out any and all D's that are in the question you wrote. Include, and always begin with the letters in 'Dear Cupid', too. You should never have a '0' for a number.

Now record that number, how many D's there were, beside the = sign. In the example we used earlier, the answer would be '2' because there were no D's in the question, but there were in 'Dear cupid'...now move on down the first row to the letter 'E'. How many E's are in the question? Once again using the example from earlier the answer would be 3 because there are two letter E's in the question and one in 'Dear Cupid'.

Now continue this system of adding up letters to find numbers all the way down the first column.

Do the same for the second column, starting with the 'C' in 'Cupid'.

Once you've got a number recorded beside each of the equal signs, add each row together.

Row one should have a final number and row two should have a final number.

Using the example above, the first row equals = 9. The second row adds up to = 8. Now, add these together...9 + 8 = 17.

Now add that number together, like ' 1 + 7 = 8' and there it is...Your answer is 8.

So what does that mean? Oh, yeah, if you have a odd number, your answer is 'NO'...likewise, if you have an even number, your answer is 'YES'...

So, in our example, it seems Cupid has good news, and that Bobby will indeed ask me to the prom!

This is really simple, but I may have made it seem harder than it is? If this is the case, feel free to e-mail me and I'll be happy to answer any questions regarding this matter free of charge ;-)

Spell of the Day

Protection spell

Two trees, sacred to the Druids, have long been well-known for their protective powers. In fact, the expression "knock on wood," to make sure your luck holds, comes from the preactice of touching trees to secure the blessing of the tree spirits, which later was replaced by the idea of touching a piece of Christ's true cross.

If you want to give your family and home extra help and protection, the first step would be to plant a Rowan tree - for it is asserted that anyone dwelling in a house hosting this tree shall be blessed and have special protection from fairy and angel folk. These are not large trees, so it is conceivable to grow one in a big pot.

The second tree of protection and, some say, on with the power to grant wishes, is the witches' favorite, the Willow. This was one of the original Druid trees from the tree/moon calendar, and the moon associated with it is sometimes called "Willow moon, the witches' moon." The Willow has powers of love, healing, and fertility, but if you want to safeguard your home, family, and property, grow a Willow in the garden near a stream or old well to influenc the Fates.

A Willow Spell

To Protect The Family.

If you're a city dweller who wishes to protect your home and family you can bring willow branches into your house or aprtment and make a kind of altar for them. You can also do the following spell

You Will Need

2 drops each rosemary, geranium, and frankincense oil in about 1 tbs almond oil; willow branches for cleansing; a growing cyclamen plant; a white candle

Choose a Waxing moon. Burn the oils in a burner and carry it through the rooms of your home to cleanse them all. In the area of the kitchen, or wherever you all sit grouped most often, perform your spell. Lay the willow branches and the potted cyclamen (white or red is best) on a table, and light a pure white candle. With your herb oils still burning and with vivid thought, take a beam of white light from the candle in your mind's eye and spin it like a tornado around the room and around each member of the household, cleansing away all negativity.* Each morning you can surround your family afresh in this potective white light.

Take the Willow branches and weave them ito a small wreath, bathe it in the white light, and hang it above your front door. Light a fresh white candle in the same place once a month on the new moon to recharge the positive atmosphere.

Tarot Deck of the Day:

Deck: Art Nouveau

Art Nouveau Tarot

Confusingly, there are currently two Art Nouveau Tarot Decks being published and available for purchase.  The information provided here is designed to help you with identifying which tarot deck is which.
The first Art Nouveau Tarot Deck to consider is one designed by Matt Myers, and is published by US Games.  Stylized figures and stained glass panels characterize this deck, painted in the tradition of turn-of-the-century decorative art.

The second art nouveau tarot deck, by Antonella Castelli, is published by Lo Scarabeo of Italy, and is actually entitled Tarot Art Nouveau.  According to the publisher, "These cards are alive with movement-the delicate curves, the sweeping lines, the bright yet gentle color-all serve to draw the mind around and into the pictures. Taken together in a reading, these cards almost effortlessly weave a story. Taken individually, there is plenty for the eye to feast on. This deck, a work of art in itself, will also serve as a powerful divinatory tool."
