What It Is & How To Do It
The god Woden, after whom 'Wednesday' was named.
Oh, what day is it? I get so confused around the middle of the week, but that's right, it's...WEDNESDAY!!! The name comes from the Middle English Wednes dei, which is from Old English language Wēdnes dæg, meaning the day of the English god Woden (Wodan) who was a god of the Anglo-Saxons in England until about the 7th century. Wēdnes dæg is like the Old Norse Oðinsdagr ("Odin's day"), which is an early translation of the Latin dies Mercurii ("Mercury's day"), and reflects the widespread association of Woden with Mercury going back to Tacitus.
Newbie
Since beginning my online call business with KEEN, I've learned that a new adviser is referred to as a 'newbie'. This is apparently a term referring to 'new' adviser. Duh, obviously, but to the tarot reading business, I am not.
At first, I did not like this term, as it didn't seem to really fit, but it does. I totally am a newbie to the online, calls & clientelle from a different source.
Being a reader for over 22 years and wiccan since childhood, I find it hard to be a newbie, but definately not to the calls. So, newbie it is!
Groups
This is a random subject, but being a 'newbie' to KEEN, I am learning there are 'groups' for the advisers, but the catch is, one must be invited. Also, I understand that belonging to a well managed group can help get good exposure and more calls. Using a group to find an adviser must make narrowing them down a lot easier!
Anyone, client or adviser, that knows about or is the manager of a 'group(s)', I am interested in any information about these and any invites will be carefully considered! Thanks, now back to the blog ;-)

Recipe of the Day
Mr Kelly's Witch Pudding
4 eggs, separated
1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
1 cup light brown sugar
3/4 cup half-and-half
5 tablespoons rum
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
In an electric mixer or large mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff. In a different bowl, beat the egg yolks until thick and lemon-colored. Combine the yolks with the remaining eight ingredients; mix together well; and then fold in the egg whites.
Pour the pumpkin mixture into a buttered 1-quart souffle dish. Place it in a pan of hot water and bake in a 350-degree preheated oven for about 45 minutes. (This recipe yields 6 servings.)
