Tarot Deck of the Day:
Tarot of the Elves

The Tarot of the Elves doesn't just picture pretty elves in costume. It's been imagined as a deck that an elf might consult, one that explores a unique elven universe. The artwork is slick and computerised, and the cards are without printed titles - unusual for a deck from Lo Scarabeo. To be available as a standalone deck, and with a book by Mark McElroy. Tarot Deck - 78 Cards.

As usual, after work, I plopped down at the computer and logged into Keen. While sitting at the computer, I began 'web-surfing' around and found the following event going on and interesting info...check it out!
Psychic, Craft & Fashion Fair in Villajoyosa
We are International Medium Kenny Corris, Jim McArthur, Whispering Angels ( incorporating Psychometry,Clairvoyance, Psychic and Tarot Card Readings) Eliza, Christine, Melitta and Yvonne, Tarot Card Reader Angie Jenner and John Jenner (Healer).
Like others who do this work all over the World, the group are united in a belief that their job is to serve and their purpose is to help others. They also share a belief in a life hereafter and without inflicting their views or any mention of the religious aspect of their lives, they work endeavouring to offer comfort and support, more often for people who are searching for proof that life goes on after departing from this World as we know it and often for those who need confidence and direction in their lives.
Everyone has to earn a living and so to work in this way they have to charge a fee, except in the case of Healer John who likes to offer Healing purely by donation to a selected Charity. The success of the last Fair has proven that the Group work well together and has inspired them to continue as a team, particularly during these times of financial difficulty for so many, offering their skills at reduced rates and so they are moving on to the next venue which will be in Villajoyosa on 21st March 2009.
This forthcoming event is in much larger premises, in the Function Rooms of El Restaurante La Bodega de Tarija, Poligono Industrial Torres, Avda. dels Oficis, 15, Villajoyosa. The Entrance will be free and there will be a Charity Raffle to raise funds, this time for the Charity EMAUS (children’s part), which all of the Mediums and Psychics will again sponsor. At this new location the Fair is going to incorporate Craft Stalls and Complimentary Health Therapies. The Glitsy Bits Company, sponsoring the Fair, will ask the stall holders to sponsor the Charity Raffle also and a list of sponsors will be displayed on the day of the Fair. The Glitsy Bits Company who sell fabulous costume Jewellery, handbags and fashion accessories will of course be there on the day.
Kenny Corris, with his wealth of experience and particularly known for his Horoscope page in Round Town News and his Coast FM live Radio work, will open the event which starts at 12.00 noon. The Fair is on till 6.00 p.m. During his opening he will thank all those Therapists, other Mediums and Psychics and everyone not involved in retail, who have agreed that during these crises times they are happy to only charge crises prices! A fixed amount of 15€ has been agreed upon for all Readings and Treatments on the day.

Today I was very thankful for the beautiful weather we had. It made everything much more tolerable. Of course, there's so much more to be thankful for as I reflect the day and consider all the blessings and how magical that is within itself. Magik, Magik, it's all Magik. As quoted from the book of Magik by A.Crowley.
So, what are you thankful for today? Some free advice, it's better to see that glass half-full. It's not something I've heard, it's something I've lived. It is also a good healing dose to the nerves.

Oh, the things I continue to find in the news. This one is very interesting and kinda makes me feel better for myself, too. I hope you find it enjoyable...
Witchcraft believed by some to be affecting villagers in Nicaragua
I've been to Nicaragua and explored its narrow jungle rivers by night on a jon boat. I got stuck on a sandbar and had to get out and push. A large crocodile came into focus beneath the light of the moon, and I walked on water.
Thankfully, I never contracted grisi siknis, also called "crazy sickness."
Nor had I ever heard of an ailment that is currently affecting Miskito communities along the Río Coco, leading to an influx of doctors and indigenous healers, who are not sure what causes a disease that generates collective hysteria among its victims.
Some are convinced it's a curse or the result of witchcraft, and there are many in the area who believe in such things. When I was there, a local shaman, who lived near the San Carlos River on a stilted house, was said to possess remarkable healing powers.
Oddly, the mysterious illness apparently affects mostly young people and places them in a trance and gives them superior strength, according to Centuriano Knight, a health coordinator with the North Atlantic Autonomous Region, or RAAN.
Knight told the English-language Tico Times: "A 15-year-old girl with siknis can overpower six or seven men. The men can't detain her, and have to tie her up in bed sheets."
The illness doesn't always instill violent behavior -- mostly people just start running madly about -- but during a similar outbreak in 2003 some began scurrying around with machetes, trying to harm others.
If I didn't know better, I'd say it's a reaction to a world in economic and environmental crisis. But it seems more like some waterborne amoeba affecting the brain. Or perhaps it is a curse. I'm just glad I'm not there to witness the spectacle.
