Abundance, Turkey Feathers @ The Grocery Store, Universal laws & more . . .

Hello beautiful people of KEEN blogland. How are you? As much as I resist the cold weather coming it's beginning without my permission. Leaves are so colorful and crisp, the sky is clear and bright, and everyday I pull out a sweater or light fall coat to wear while walking the dog or going shopping.
Craig came over the week of Halloween and brought us fish which he and his best friend Woody caught while boating around the Mississippi River in Iowa. He cooked it up and I couldn't stop feasting on it. Though orange roughy is my favorite fish, the blue gill and bass from the Mississippi had to be the best fish I ever tasted. I'd fill my belly and as soon as I wasn't full anymore, I'd eat some more. Mmmmm. Next spring I'll be on that pontoon fishing and camping. Can't wait!
Thanks for visiting the new myspace site I created. Now I have both keen advisor friends and clients who have shared their pages with me. I like it :-) and wonder what took me so long to fully explore that venue. I'm meeting up with folks I never thought I'd ever communicate with or see again!
The new moon came and I spent some time visualizing abundance this month. It's amazing how fast we can attract money and assistance to us with a little faith it 'will be'. I paid off some very significant bills this month and discovered I was on my last bit of funds until pay day. so decided to request assistance and money . . . a 500.00 dollar gift from the universe was needed.
The first sign came in the super market where I had budgeted some groceries and stood at the cashier isle. A thought had just crossed my mind that I needed one more 'turkey feather receipt' to make six of them, and this would give me a 10.00 dollar discount. Suddenly a woman walks by after paying for her groceries and asks the woman in front of me if she collects the turkey feathers. The woman says no, and this woman wants to give away two of them. "I'll take them!" I say and smile. I now have ten dollars, a good sign and I send out thanks!
My great aunt calls to say there's a check in the mail at her house for me. I see it's 365.00 dollars. Thank you. I make the rest up with keen readings on that day and my prayer requests- with faith it is SO have been answered. I'm so grateful.
I notice that in the midst of a time when I could have panicked and felt poor and scared, I decided to look at my home and the gorgeous tree by my back deck and be thankful. To feel the warmth of my living room and feel grateful for the small amount of coffee beans I had left in the cupboard. I am so blessed! I truly feel this!
And though I didn't know where this money would come from to save my checking account from going negative on that day, I felt so grateful to have the kind of work schedule which allows me to care for and be with my children, enjoy my four pets and have lots of leisure time for hobbies and for resting & playing. I'm blessed.
I notice that the more I allow myself to bask in a state of gratefulness, that gifts come to me - more and more and more. I consider even the smallest sign of abundance good . . . like that initial turkey feather discount within a few moments of my new moon prayers. This shouldn't be missed, and should be thanked immediately because to recognise this brings on even more & swings that door open even wider.
Though the turkey feathers aren't the whole burrito, they are a sign that my energy is beginning to flow in the right direction, that I'm attracting what I'm asking for which is support from the universe. After all, it could have been something different at the grocery store if my mind had been caught up in the feeling of scarcity and fear. I wouldn't have realized the gift of that woman's turkey feathers or even recognised them as a gift!
Something else I learned at the grocery store while budgeting. I stood at the oil isle for about 15 minutes because I couldn't bring myself to buy low quality oil. I'm spoiled about organic or at least first cold pressed olive oil. It's expensive I know, and my funds weren't so hot. But I couldn't buy anything less than high quality oil.
I also discovered that no matter how poor I physically am, I must have purified water to drink. I just won't drink tap water and haven't for years. But I'm so very grateful for running water to bath and clean with . . .and drink, too, if I really need to lol.
I used to call this the 'arrowhead law' back in KY. I loved to find arrowheads and was good at it. I'm going to save this arrowhead law for my next blog as it has to do with many things including this topic and I can write a nice one just on that!
Love & Light to You,
Fawn
