Coincidence
The carbon monoxide alarm went off at 4:30 this morning and woke us up.
It wasn't the BIG alarm, it was the small annoying chirp of a dying battery.
This was perfect timing, because for two days we'd been searching for our shy kitty who'd run off outside & disappeared without a trace. It was the first time she'd escaped from the indoors and we were worried about her.
In fact, we placed food on our back deck last night, hoping she'd show up.
It was starting to look depressing, but here it was, 4:30 am and this annoying beep woke us up- just in time!
I felt it was for a reason . . . and right away asked Craig to look out the window just in case Nicki was there.
She was!
