Coffee Chat Musings . . . Juicy Blessings ( & lots o' yummy, interesting stuff:-)

DAVINCI DAYS

These zany contraptions are to be able to race in sand . . ., through mud, on land and/or in water!

Except for the musicians . . .

and kids who want to ride, play, run, explore the multiple booths of education and hands on art . . .

. . . or play with the wild animals-

Corvallis- in site of Oregon State University has a certain kind of hippy geek segment of personalities who like to invent contraptions every year for the Davinci Festival.

They all peddle, but this one blows fire!

It's made out of household things like baking pans and such!

He likes to ride high in a tree down the road.

This dude looked like he was having fun most of all as he peddled down the river in his motorcycle boat with a teddy bear mascot.

. . . of course the magic peace bus!

People do like their teddies here.

Very fun.

. . . and the jugglers enjoyed the festival, too.

Bikes everywhere in this town . . . and bio or electric cars . . .

The man with the whisk was dad to those peddling in this contraption . . . which in fact won the road, mud river race today.

Slug came in a close second or third.

Go  go go!

Fawn,

You're a remarkable person to remain so upbeat and optimistic, despite temporary setbacks.  These photos are gloriously happy.  That's yet another reason you're an example to others.  Be strong.  Believe all will turn out for the best.  And I shall keep you in my prayers!

Blessings,
Susan

Things truly do occur for spiritual reasons and I don't believe that what I'm going through with the scam thing is a mistake. There is a reason I am to work this out and I must see where the clutter and confusion are in my life as I also seek justice and balance. It sounds odd, and at another time in my life I might be frantic, yet things will turn out for the highest good of all concerned here and what is most important are right here with me, near my heart. I'm so very thankful for our health, my pets, for the friends and family in my life. These are what are real. Thanks for you note of encouragement and your upbeat energies and prayer is real! Light! Dear Fawn:

I just was aghast when I read of your traumatic situation.  I hope you will continue to seek justice for I see you triumph here if you don't let fear rule you.  Just keep your focus and you will work through this setback and start anew.  It is just such a terrible ending to a wonderful trek across country.  I am keeping you and yours in my prayers like Susan and when we all pray miracles occur.  Blessing to you honey and stay safe.

Thank you Rosie. I am in a good home with good friends and a new job starting with lots of love around me. I know that as long as I stay patient and persistant that justice will be served. There is a reason! I left with the heavy u haul on my car that nearly broke the transmission so I stored the stuff in a unit in Cottonwood, AZ outside of Sedona with some beautiful folks who run the place. These things are my most precious possessions, my alter things, my glass doll, teddy from childhood, some photos, my jewels, artwork, weavings and pottery . . . dishes and silver etc. they may not have the monetary value which my entire home holds, but they are what I would feel so bad about if they were lost. Because of this, I feel that a part of me knew what to do and that this portion of time might have a situation like this. I don't know why it is happening, but maybe it is to help others or even myself. It will be okay. Thank you so much for the prayers!

Fawn, It's been a great honor to follow you on your travels, what is going on right now for you is beyond understanding, I admire your strength and determination to not let it spoil the start of your new life.  You and your family are in my prayers.  Blessings.

They all must have Asperger's.  And God bless them for it.  Without people with Asperger's, we wouldn't have the lightbulb.

This is alot like a race the American Visionary Arts Museum has in Baltimore called the Kinetic Sculpture Race.  All the vehicles are people powered and go from the museum, to a park in Canton and into the water and then to another park where there is a mud pit and then back to the museum.  It's about 15 miles all together.  I was a chicken cheerleader this past year.  You can see me in my gold lame dress if you look under kineticbaltimore.
