The Drumming Dervish

Coffee Chat Musings . . . Juicy Blessings ( & lots o' yummy, interesting stuff:-)

Delicate Arch At Dusk, Photo Journal 4

This is Katie standing under Delicate Arch and looking up to take a photograph. She's by a sharp drop off and we're majestically high up! I'm surrounded by beautiful people with cameras and water bottles. Everything feels still and the sun is setting.

The hike up at dusk is much less harsh than during the heat of the day. It's actually pleasant  to walk it now, and the photo ops are amazing. Katie over heated the first time and didn't make it to the top. Now she is skipping over rocks and enjoying the scene. I and Galen have hiked up the 480 plus feet to see this arch again! Phil has decided to stay at the base of the trail this time.

I'm glad to come back because the chance to photograph the arch at dusk is irresistable now. It's so huge and pretty.

It feels picture perfect here.

The hike is worth it.

Katie and Galen seem to like this, too.

There's a climb up to another arch which provides a great look out, the way is steep but Phil climbed this earlier in the day.

On our walk down hill we take advantage of more photographic moments.

It was a pleasure . . . a gift!- to be here today. Smile.
