In Love with the 'Devil'

It's a mystery why, from the first time she saw him she knew in her heart he was 'The One'.

Never mind that he is disrespectful, immature, selfish & often times cruel.

We all know someone, including ourselves at one time, who have fallen in crazy love with a person who isn't good for us. In fact, she may be very unhealthy for us and after the fall we're left spinning emotionally out of control for months and even years!

On the spiritual side of things, this person really IS a soul connection. Maybe not the 'Knight in Shining Armor' we'd hoped for, but the unfinished soul work is important just the same, and on a deeper level, this is what we KNOW is required of us.

When the meaning of the fiendish love connection is exchanged, & the karma resolved on some level, that person can either fade back into the abyss of life, or remain a connection of mutual choice.

The important thing- is the intensity of that relationship fades to a manageable degree after we learn, or do, what we signed up to do (with or about them).

Maybe what we are supposed to learn is to ignore that soul, to RUN, get away & DON'T have that relationship.

Maybe, there is an imbalance in the soul conection and you are meant to know a certain point of view or feel a flavor of empathy not offered by anyone else you know. THIS person is the key to your evolving soul.

So if you find yourself in love with a person who ignores you, hurts you, belittles you and is secretly the Devil (lol) he's not the ONE . . . well not in the way you hope for!

THE ONE is that person who you feel genuine joy and love of YOURSELF when you are around her. You actually think you are AWESOME when she is near.

That's the one.

Not the Devil guy who you feel like 'scum off the bottom of someone's shoe . . . and you don't feel like looking anyone in the eye' when you're around him. Not that one.

No, he's teaching you something but it isn't about healthy love with HIM.

Ultimately it's about self respect and self love, strength and TRUE beauty that isn't dependent on others, especially the likes of her!

Are you in love with the Devil?

Yes? Okay, take a deep breath and look deeply in to what is truly going on here. Look at this relationship from a 'bird's eye view' and see yourself and see that Devil.

Ask your guides and Angels to help you learn what needs to be learned by this and assist you with the strength to MOVE ON.

The TRUTH shall set you free.

Light!

Fawn

Wow...great posting. It's the slap upside the head that I need. I'm guilty of being in love with the "devil," and although I'm not quite there, I'm getting closer to being able to move on. This past week has been very enlightening and retrospective for me, and your blog couldn't be more timely; thank you.

The past few weeks have been retrospective for many of us. It's a good thing, yes?

Dear Fawn:
You are so right on as usual.  I remember a time when I was in love with a musician who broke my heart into little pieces and I swore I would never be able to love again!  Now after many years I laugh and laugh at myself for being so foolish but at the time the pain was very real.  Thank you for this reality check this morning.  Blessings

Oh Fawn, what a great blog! I don't mind it when girls fall for the devil, but when they're your friend and they're miserable all the time, won't leave him and don't seem to be learning much in the mean time - it's a pain in the ass. I'd love to sleep right through some of their creeps. I hope they get some soul work done in the process. I'd like to think someone, anyone is benefitting from the drama. *bitch, moan, whine* Wine? Did someone say wine? I better have a glass. ;D
