Is there such thing as Evil???

I'm going to be honest and say that lately I struggle with this question. I feel the light and positive energies, they flow and are nice.

There's dense, low and heavy energies which feel like I'm getting sick. Want to vomit. Have a headache.

The haunted house in Owosso has this energy.

Ancient and very reliable teachings show that energy is simply energy, which is either stuck or flowing.

Stuck energy creates illness and disharmony.

But then I wonder: What about ACTIVE stuck heavy energy . . . demonic feeling sort of energy which has a conscious choice  action . . . is this type not evil or at the very least negative?

Or maybe it's in the definition of the words 'evil' and negative where I have this confusing disagreement within myself about evil only being energy.

Maybe it's all in how we interpret the words. For instance, the word evil could imply a stuck and sickening feeling sort of energy which has an intension to harm or threaten.

Maybe the power of 'knowing' that evil is not evil, but simply energy which is stuck . . . is in the fact that energy CAN BE TRANFORMED and therefore this stuck (evil) energy has potential to change and become part of the light again?

I recently was taught that even the most 'scary' of energies have a small spark of light which is part of our connected whole, and with this belief we can draw out the portion of the 'stuck energy' which is light enough to assist with the transformation of itself.

I'm getting deeply philosophical lol. The point is, I believe the answer to this question is our key to healing the Owosso haunted house.

I feel evil there, but since evil is only stuck energy which has a spark of our creator's light within it, which can be transformed, then through the powerful alchemy of several light workers, prayerful people, ministers, priests and shamans- will it then FINALLY go back to Source and leave the home.??

I hope so.

Have I been clear as mudd? lol

Sigh.

if "there is nothing new under the sun..." then let it have a voice, know it is heard, understood and felt it's experience here.  maybe the truth being seen will begin the transformaton to light. (?) (a little philosophical...)

maybe just being light in the dark, helps the veiled (in combative, destructive energy) "spark" to find (unblock) their connection to the eternal (positive, creative, constructive) by allowing themselves (relaxing, faith, forgiving) to.

WOW!!!Your philosophical insight helped me 'just a little bit' if I may elaborate. I'm a 43 yr. old woman that has had many encounters with what I call SPIRITS and Supernatural entity's. Through my experience I have SEEN,FELT,& HEARD, these energies or lost soul trying to cross over. I don't know i've been trying to understand why I went through  torment with the entity's. The SPIRITS are  different they are calm,& peaceful unless provoked by the entity as in my experience. Me myself, I believe there is a such thing as evil because of the forces between these energies. As I shared in the begining this type of encounters start in full force when I was 18 or 19, the last time I was encountered was about a month ago and there was about 1yr, that I was left alone by this entity,

(I lable evil!) About 3yrs ago I went to a psychic and told her what has been going on and she advised me to go to a Priest so I DID and told him about the magnitude of the happening, and what he explained to was that someone I knew that has past on was trying to tell me something. Well that made since to me, I really wish I knew what it's tying to tell me so maybe it would move on. I've also refered to this thing as a demon I guess because it told me it's name and i've searched and researched to find it in text books,& internet and haven't found it yet. Something else I want to add before I go is my daugther saw it to, an for the longest time NO ONE believed me that these encounters was really happening to me. Let me explaine to you real quick about when my daugther saw it, I had first felt it's presences then I saw it and didn't tell my daugther because I didn't want her to get upset she was 15 or 16 @ the time, anyway I ingored it's presences yet I was fearful,then my daugther ask me to come to her an as I walked toward her, he eyes were fixed on this (we called it demon) and she said to me: Mom please don't think i'm crazy but will you look back by the dresser and tell me what you see, the whole time she was going through this I had the biggest goose bumps and kinda shaking just a little bit, but I told her to tell me what she see's and my heart was sinking as she was describing the EXACT SAME THING that I was seeing. I let her know that she wasn't crazy and I was very elated that she spoke on it,and I'll tell you why, For the LONGEST time when these encounters happened I would tell my friends, family, people I would just meet hopeing that someone could help me, people labled me with a mental disability. So with my daugther seeing these things that has been haunting me for a long time and still today, all I could say to my daugther was; you see it too...you see it too..my ex-husband had my child thinking I was mental, but when MY DAUGTHER saw it to that was one of MY most memorable days of my life!!! There are so many encounters that I'd love to share with someone that maybe able to HELP ME, because there still happening....PLEASE for the LOVE of GOD HELP ME!! someone :(    Sincerely Linda :(

i think this site is a good place to find some more understanding for you. i would say be yourself and stay calm. your faith and confidance alone will help direct them. stay strong in your earthly priorities and loving your family and daily duties.  i am sure you will get plenty of advice on what action to take but you must have some srtong intuition already and i would say listen to yourself formost.  compassion and self love will guide you best i believe.  enjoy a good mother's day and good luck in your understanding...!

Linda I believe you completely. I know there are others who do and will, also. I'm learning how to help in this area but have a ways to go. There are people who will listen to you and not think you are insane. Yes! This site is a good place to share your plight with others. You're getting close to finding a solution. Don't give up!

Dear Linda:

I understand your dismay because for years I would argue with family and friends that I had never encountered one single entity on the other side that I could classify as evil or dark and never encountered any on earth until I went to work as a counselor at a state run penal institution.  This prison housed the worse criminals in the US including Kemper, Manson etc.  That is where I had my first encounter with the dark side.  The prison was filled with entities from the dark.  Each day you had to shield and cleanse after leaving the place.  I learned first hand however from my guides that God is the God of the dark and the light.  The dark does exist to counterbalance the light.  Since those years I have worked constantly to clear others homes and surroundings of dark and earthbound entities but just recently I had not encountered true demonic possession like we learned about in church and my first encounter rocked my foundations.  They exist and they are here but we do have a defense against those type of dark ones and it is called faith and grace.  I know that cannot get a foothold unless they are invited in.  That does not cover the earthbound spirits who can easily possess and inhabit someones body.  That is why I am very very careful and shield totally in the hospital settings or when visiting in the hospital.  

My suggestion to everyone ( this is why I harp on this topic so much in the blogs) is to develop a habit of shielding morning and night and do it with consistancy.  It is imperative in the times ahead to shield your spirit with the light of the Divine.

Do not be afraid for you are powerful, creative and wonderful children of God and we are protected by our faith and devotion.

While I do believe in good and evil, my personal thought is this is simply when confronting "evil" kick that word around to "live" and kick that little "evil in the butt. You live, the light lives, hence the upper hand. (that is a simple explanation)

Thanks Amanda. I've always felt that way, too. UNTIL lately when I encounter more than the 'garden variety' spirit/soul haunting experience. I'm witnessing actual harm done to people, physical pain and hurt and manifestation of some very serious things. Now I'm at another level of 'how can we work with this?'. Five wonderful psychics, light workers/healers spent over 7 1/2 hours in the house this week with little effect, despite it all. Next week there will be these same five beautiful souls and maybe five-ten more light filled shamans/healers in the house. All I can say is that of the many many homes and spirit cleanses I've been a part of, this is the first time I've encounted something which feels so very threatening. Now my belief system is transforming to include this experience and to claim the truth of it in my life model.

Yes, I think there is good and evil in the world and in everyone. It's how you choose to use what you have. People choose to be evil just as we choose to be good. Most people choose to be a little of both. Nice mixture so not too much of a goodie two shoes and not a Charles Manson either. Just be careful how you do it.

I know from my own experience that there is such a thing as dark energy, but to classify it as evil gives it more power than it deserves.  It's consciousness that hasn't been brought fully into the light.  If you fight it, it will gain more of a hold, but if you love it, you help it into the light and you do yourself a service as well by loving those aspects of yourself that are not fully enlightened.  A lot of times this old stuck energy is just an old aspect that someone has discarded.  The energy residue has a devic life of its own, but it can be released with love into the light.

One of the first rules of physics is "for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction".  That law is as solid as the law of gravity. If the tide goes in, the tide goes out, when it is day on one side the the earth it is night on the other. Each season has an opposite. What goes up must come down. If there were no evil, how could there be good?  I beleive evil does exist, perhaps it can change when exposed to enough love and light. Afterall, one small candle, can dissipate a whole room of darkness. I am sure that evil exists as much as I am sure that goodness exists.

One more thought to ponder...sometimes it takes one of like mind to actually conquer the "dark" someone who walks the edge in a manner of speaking.  It goes back to the saying it takes one to know one. I acknowledge both light and dark because that is the way of it. I just choose where I personally work.

well lets see i have had alot of great times in life but recently  there has been alot of hurt and negative feelings and i have been feeling that there is someone or something that is trying to bring me down even more. i would mention any of this but today i had a horrible feeling of someone or something was in my presence that was really negative    can something like this happen or am i just losing it i dont want to feel what i felt today. i am not a deprressed person and far from crazy but like i said i felt something today that i never felt nor do i want to feel again    is it possible?

when i read these comments i say to myself.vince you are not the only one that sees these things at nite.but like evreyone else when you tell someone then they think your a bit out of wack.an they start to make fun of you.but what i see at nite when i wake to turn over i just cant believe it myself but my wife says it was ment for me to see these things.now she is starting to see things herself so we are both nuts right.the thing of it is what i see wont hurt me  an this is every nite when i go to sleep. always in my bedroom doorway i try to talk to these if you will spirits but they disapate.so can someone tell me just what to do i want them to talk to me.
