My New Moon Affirmation
So I’m between jobs and have been since April. I’m able to sleep-in and to spend hours focusing on life and it's changes. There are money worries as usual, but a certain calm buffer has settled around me, since the energetic move away from my old job and schedule. The democratic election campaign has me captivated, with Hillary and Obama. I have been participating in a forum conversation about the election, and have discovered a certain degree of my own power, during this midlife void, where I’m ‘coming out’ and speaking up with my ‘far out’ mind about what I think. I’m moving toward my authentic truth by heading off to Oregon, I’m letting go of ‘stuff’, shedding possessions until I have all the most precious ones left to travel west with me. I’m helping my baby daughter pack for college, dealing with petty daily details, finalizing concerns and such . . . so that in July we can drive down the nearly 20 day, 4000 plus mile roadway to our new life. The Oregon Trail detours for us-- through Nebraska/Colorado/Arizona/Utah/Wyoming/Idaho and then to OR. We’ll see new things, the kids and I. It's scary! May angels protect our bodies and our journey, may we stay safe, abundant, joyful and protected. May our three cats survive the airline fight and our golden retriever stay cool through the deserts. Let my camera survive for the tremendous photo opportunities, my son feel joyful and successful upon our new move, my daughter stay blessed and be joyful in her new adult life, too . . . and may an awesome, divinely aligned, spirit serving Job opportunity be waiting for me in Corvallis. May all who are a part of this be blessed as a result of my choices . . . this shift.
