The Drumming Dervish

Coffee Chat Musings . . . Juicy Blessings ( & lots o' yummy, interesting stuff:-)

SUPERSIZE IT?

Caller:

"Will Julianna Janie Lee call me again?"

Me:

"Okay I'll look at this for you: I'm getting 'no' if this current path you're on continues & it's because - "

Caller:

"Yes or no! Next question- Will I ever see her again?"

(*Not realizing this abruptness temporarily breaks our fragile connection)

Me:

"Okay. (few second pause) Yes you will see her and there's potential that . . . "

Caller:

"Yes or no! Will we get back together?"

Me:

"No"

Caller:

"Is the reason I didn't get hired for my last job because the resume wasn't updated?"

Me:

"The reason is . . ."

Caller:

"Yes or no!"

Me:

"No"

"Would you like fries with that?" (thinking to myself :-)

This is a random sample of a few calls I've received over the years - RANDOM & not to be taken personally. So if you identify with these words I assure you that I'm pulling them 'out of a hat!'.  I  feel drawn to write about this topic because it's a common experience.

ME w/ sample follow up:

"We have a large variety of KEEN choices- If my method of reading doesn't suit you, I'm not offended & do appreciate honest feedback!

*As long as we are kind to eachother I'm willing to work! :-)

Allow a reading to unfold for you. Maybe you can choose to call a reader when you're willing to be patient & listen . . . for the sake of accuracy and personal benefit- It's so important that I be given a chance to do the best I can for you"

To all my fast food psychic seekers (over the years)- I send out to you positive energy - love, healing - greater abundance, peace of mind (& some ketchup)!!

Light!

Good one Fawn. My best advise to caller is to LISTEN! I have sometimes asked a reader if we can change the subject now. Sometimes a reader will say they have a little more to say on the subject. That last bit is often the most important. If a reader seems to be wasting time I still will listen but perhaps just not call them back. Sometimes the ones I think have wasted time have often said a few things that I realize are insightful comments perhaps a day or two later.

I agree. Often the most important VITAL messages I get for someone-  are ones which come as I'm answering a basic question.

If we're blocked from sharing this, benefits are truly lost :-(

Often gems of truth are found with a little patience.

Dear Fawn:
You are right on target with this blog and I totally agree!  If some advisors can dish up life changing advice in 3 minutes or less I applaud them but I sure have a little difficulty there.  For it takes a minute to really look at the person and their past and what restrictions surround them etc.  I sometimes am amazed with callers who expect that you can see into the future, pick out the very man they have been thinking about without telling their name and to let them know when in time and space they may call them.  It really is mind blogging if you think about what that takes.  Thanks for this blog for it really does put it in perspective.

Nothing like a client that wants a 2 minute analysis reading but leaves a feedback that took them 10 MINUTES TO WRITE.

Seems contradicting doesn't it?  Do as I say...not as I do!
CONTROL....CONTROL.......CONTROL.   Who ever the hapless reader is on the other end of the phone with this kind of person will get the full hilt of their revenge on life and romance.  This person is looking for Wal-Mart prices so they go from reader to reader and compare.
