TO THE LIGHT!
Have you had the experience of sending a spirit off to the light?
I'm amazed at the number of folks I speak with who have done this. Or they speak of their grannies who have done this.
We spend a large amount of time among the spirit world in our daily lives, and every once in a while a soul will come along who needs some guidance, some help!
Most of the time it feels like daily life as usual, and we aren't even aware of much else . . . but work, food, our tight schedule and daily activities.
But every once in a 'blue moon' comes a real ghost to 'rock' someone's world! It happens to you, or to a friend, or to a friend of a friend.
It's the story of a lost soul who obviously needs some direction.
Some will sage (smudge) and pray. Others will call a priest to bless the space and help the 'lost' soul move on. Another person may sit and pray and visualize the spirit entity toward the light.
Four years ago five nurses at our city hospital went to the chapel there at three in the morning to pray for a little boy who had been haunting the hospital for years. He was always seen by the patients at their bedside, with a red ball. He would ask for his "Mommy".
I posted the ghost story of this boy on Shadowlands, a ghost site, and got a personal email from a patient who once stayed on our unit. It was about this same boy who visited her room at five in the morning and the nurse couldn't see him.
These events with this same lost child soul happened frequently.
The five of us went to pray for him in the chapel. We felt him there with us and in our own way, with our unique gifts, spoke to him.
We explained to him that there were very wonderful and loving helping beings who would take care of him if he would allow himself to go on to the light.
He communicated with us that he was afraid he'd lose track of his mommy if he went on. He didn't want to leave her.
Finally, he understood that he'd always have her and be much happier if he went on, and we all felt him depart. It was a warm, loving and miraculous feeling!
