A little of both at the momen, he is not quite there on your level as of yet, he is still a bit afraid to get into a real solid relationship, your patience here can make all the difference. There are feelings but to be very honest his are a bit short of the way you feel about him. Renee Its a hard question because both of you have very strong feelings for each other but as you can see he keeps pulling away. This is because he is not ready or scared of something serious at this time and I know your patience is getting the best of you as It should be. Hi Andy, Thank you for this offer. It is so kind of you. I was wondering the guy that I dated for several years we broke up last february. Neither of us have dated anyone else and have started to talk and see each other again. He has expressed to me his fears of getting into a relationship again and getting hurt...he has a lot of trust issues. Hi Andrew, I need your help. There is this guy that I am interested in, he lives on my block. I don't know his name or anything about him but I know I have this VERY strong attraction to him. It is not this giddy girly (oh he is so cute) attraction even though I am physically attracted to him there is something there much deeper than that. When I see him, I feel like there is a magnet pulling from my body towards his, its almost indescribeable. Hello, I am interested in a man that I met about 9 months ago.  He does have a long distance relationship (about 1500 miles). We have quite a bit of banter, mostly about football, and sometimes until past midnight. Dear Andrew,

There is one important question that I want to ask you: What are his views towards me after everything that happened?

He was my mentor, 6 years older than me and helped me a lot during my thesis year. I have to be honest that he was the love of my life. Although we're not romantically involved, I do have affections towards him.

We had a big fight over two months ago and we have never talked to each other ever since. I sent him a birthday message and he didn't answer. Just tonight, I went to a faculty party. He was there but when he saw me  through the window of a room, he avoided entering that room. When he finally enters he murmured hi to me without asking "How are you?".  Seems like he forced himself into entering the room because he wanted to talk to my other friend, who I think he loves...I am not sure whether he still value the friendship that we had, or about his views towards me in general...

I need this answer to make my decision before moving overseas in two days and never see him again. When I say decision, I mean whether I should erase the memory about him, or whether I should try to get our friendship back.Please understand that yes, I put him on a pedestal, but I want to know whether I should stop doing that... It all depends on what he thinks of me.

Please know that I am not asking you to decide for me, but I think I deserve an honest answer, and I'll take that answer into the consideration.
