Upcoming blog topics

Out of total boredom and being tired of gentle harassment from some of my friends, I decided that it was time to add to the old blog. I decided to have fun with this one and go through some of the quotes that I have saved over time to see if I could find some empowerment in them for their usefulness as a blog topic. Well, here is the top 11. These will be incorporated into blogs over the next several weeks. Maybe not in the order they are here, but they will all be used as something to help empower and inspire.

I shall warn you, don’t judge a blog by its quote.

1. "To conquer others is to have power. To conquer yourself is to know the way."-- Lao Ma (Xena Warrior Princess).

2. "Don't (mess <not the word used>) it up" RuPaul

3. "Fill yourself with desire and see only illusions. Empty yourself of desire and understand the great mystery of things." Lao Ma

4. "The entire world is driven by a will, blind and ruthless. In order to transcend the limitations of that world, you need to stop willing, stop desiring, stop hating." Lao Ma

5. "Heaven endures and Earth lasts a long time because they do not live for themselves. Therefore she who would live a long time should live for others, serve others." Lao Ma

6. "Are you so brave that you fear someone caring for you?" Darius

7. "Don't be sorry, just improve." Xena

8. "We all have families that we were born into, but sometimes families change, and we have to build our own. For me our friendship binds us closer than blood ever will." Xena

9. "You are who you pretend to be. So you better pretend to be something you can live with." Palamon

10. "It's easier to believe in yourself after someone else has believed in you first." Gabrielle

11. "Pain's just natures way of saying, 'Hey, you're alive.'" Ares

Blessings!
