Being What You are Meant to Be...
So many times, we are trying to be a second rate version of someone else instead of trying to be a first rate version of ourselves. One of the best lessons I ever learned was from one of my old bosses. He said, "What other people think of you is None of Your Business !" Well isn't that the truth! You have only one person to be concerned with and that is yourself. If you try to live up to the expectations of what someone else expects of you or how you should act, you are going to drive yourself nuts. If people can't love and accept you for what you are then its time to change your associations. Don't you agree?

Good post. As Bill Cosby once said, "I don't know the recipe for happiness, but I do know the recipe for unhappiness - it's trying to please other people."

We are all here for a reason. We all have special abilitites. What's right for someone else doesn't mean it's right for us. I applaud people's individuality and not shun it. We are all great !
