The Road to Enlightenment
This road is called Enlightenment, its' filled with great adventure and it takes twist and turns only the wilder imagination could believe. It's always looking for a new better understanding and willingness to expand itself. The road is barren at times, dark in color like mud. Other times the road is glistening like the morning dew at day break.
I decided upon this road when first I left creation on my journey back to myself and my whole the divine in who I am. The road has puddles filled with my tears and it has patches filled with my misunderstanding and it has bumpy odd shaped rocks where I've scrapped myself and left a scare as a reminder of that adventure.
The road sometimes is like a mirage where it disappears into the horizon. That's when I know I've got on with it. I travel above the road to see the finish, some say I cheat the game by doing this, but its' how I manage to stay present to the events that occur along the road.
Sometimes I come across a circus and find people laughing and dressed in oddly shaped bodies and costumes and I wonder where they came from and if they are headed the same place I am. I feel at times they are not in he same reality as I am in. We cross paths but we don't really take notice of one another.
I'm always trying to make it a straight road, but it never has been. But now in front of me, I see a straight road, not like the past. I feel closer to myself in a new way. I recognize I'm the dream and the dreamer, the Vision and the Visionary. I now wish to create my truth of love.
The road to enlightenment leaves the desert of desertion behind and merges into the wings of chaos only to find itself uplifted into the power of Love leaving behind the selfish ways to serve a higher purpose.
Once banned and blamed for hurting me and others now I see it's purpose and compassion. As I reach out my hand to meet it and my feet step firmly onto the new playing field I am ready to complete the journey into truth and love. For it was in the beginning and now and ever shall be world without end.
Come on along ... you are always welcome here.
