What the Heck Does Soul Mate Mean?
That is the question of the day. When I hear the question "who is my soul mate?" Usually, the word is asked as a romantic partner or a mate. Soul mates are people who come into our lives that would best enable us to meet our selves. They come to us to help us to remember that all life's challenges have the potential to be of the greatest opportunities for growth. So, they come to us as our parents, children, friends, relatives, hairdressers, and mates.
Every relationship, meaning anyone you relate to, has a purpose. That purpose is to give us the opportunity to recognize within them our own divinity. Sometimes, it's easier said than done. Sometimes, they come cloaked as negative influences. I say cloaked, because in essence we are all one. That's another discussion for another day.
From my own experience, my "soul mate" came in the forms of mother and my ex-husband. They have been my highest and best spiritual teachers. How can I say that?
They gave me the opportunities to move through adversity and look at myself with new eyes. I came through the darkness and found the light. The light was within me. It was there all along. Was it easy? Heck no! Was it worth it? As far as I can tell, ABSOLUTELY.
We attract soul mates and we are soul mates. Ask yourself "what opportunities am I giving to the soul mates in my life?" "What are we here to remember about our True Selves?' "What gifts can I find in this current situation?"
In the words of Neale Donald Walsch author of The Little Soul and the Sun and the Conversations with God series "I have sent you nothing but Angels."
From the Akashic Records perspective... I concur.
Call me today with all your questions. You are all Angels.
Love and Light,
