Everyone is talking about Manifesting these days... and "alignment".  Now I've been talking about this for years, and working on it from a concious standpoint for that time also.  But what does it mean, and how do we do it?

Here a few simple techniques that work for me, and have received kudos from some of my clients who are working on evolving their spiritual selves.

1) Make it a goal, to atleast MAINTAIN your current state -- and not spiral.  We all have bad days, and not so fun things unexpectedly occur sometimes. Acknowledge those moments of sadness or grief, but do not dwell or contiously mull them over -- this is a negative self-talk, and like attracts like -- so one negative thought, repeatedly thought, will attract other equally negative thoughts / emotions.  Continue on this path, and you will lower vibrational energy and find yourself feeling WORSE than you did before.. .so Rule #1 -- MAINTAIN.  I use distraction techinique, such as a hobby, or project, something that really takes all my focus.

2)  Shut out that which creates negative or fearful emotions in you.  Now, this doesn't mean, not using caution when doing something that we know has some risk -- you wouldn't go skydiving without a parachute, but you don't think about how you might die while you do it! You think about the soft landing you'll have at the end of it!

I don't watch television news, the more my brain sees death, distruction, and poverty, the more I start to feel sadness, pain, etc... this lowers my vibrational energy, and draws more negative thoughts, and feelings, and if sustained long enough, can draw to me those things that I DON"T want.  I don't want to hear about all the animal cruelty, etc, no, it's not sticking my head in my sand, I still work with changing things, and helping those in crises (human and furry critter) -- but I don't have to dwell on the negativity to counteract it -- I can do more good, visualizing, and feeling the positive outcomes!

3) Focus on the goal -- not the race.  Someone who finishes last on the 100m -- still finishes.  A doctor who graduates last in their class in medical school, is still a doctor...While the journey is important, in that in order to finish, you must continue to do the work, and take each step -- it's not important how pretty it looks while you're doing it.  Think of those paintings, that are done all in dots... up close, it's a MESS, nothing makes sense, it APPEARS only to be chaos -- but step away from the canvas, and all the dots, make up a grand and magical picture -- something that is Beautiful, and makes perfect order out of the chaos.... Focus on the end result you want, not all the little pepples in the path...
