Bloody Reality Games and Blossoming Minds
It has always been the children considered different, or "rebels" that got a bad rap at school. Ironically some of these kids end up the shakers and billionaires driving up in expensive cars at school reunions later in life.….or the famous musician that everyone from their dreaded past wants to kiss up to later.
What I am saying is the phenomena of the creative odd ball…or lone wolf in school, snickered at by the kids with a billion names on their cell phone and a successful social life, has always been around. This is nothing new.
What is fairly new is graphic bloody reality games the last 19 years. I remember there was talk … a rumor… that the gov't was sick and tired of passive anti war people. In their eyes.... bloody war games helped build a sort of soldier aggression they needed back. And I am not putting down soldiers. We need them.
But these games also got in the hands of the wrong kids, at the wrong emotional time of their life, and probably before their mental illness was raging full gun. Alone, with their “ security blanket” bloody reality game, these young men developed, seeing not soldiers to eliminate, but the rich kid glued to his cell phone with a nice car and social life at school. { The nice kid that laughed at him for being different.} And like the kid that goes from porn magazines to real flesh; fantasy eventually does not satisfy. It blossoms into the direction it was groomed for.
It’s a phenomenon hard to figure, but I do not think being a loner or all mental illness is the blame for school shootings. Perhaps we need to really ask ourselves what came first. Mind Training through violent games, or the actual killing? And if we are curbing offensive language in rap songs, the radio and TV, shouldn’t we also eliminate the source of blossoming violence? After all, if our children are being reared on explicit sex on MTVand shopping for the outfits that match, wouldn’t it also make sense that bloody reality games are being followed by actions as well?
