How To be Confident. {for job interviews, dates & friends}

As a person that used to live on the streets as well as a single mom working in a packing house to survive, it has been my saving grace to learn the "tool" of Elegance for self esteem,  for better jobs and making friends.  By visualizing Oprah Winfrey’s elegance, adopting her smile and warmth in hard times, people treated me with more warmth in return.

HOW TO BECOME MORE SELF CONFIDENT

  • Elegance is understated self empowerment; think, “Less is More."
  • Visualize all the qualities you admire in those with serene elegance.
  • This can be an actor, writer, or friend that carries them selves with Quiet Self Confidence.
  • {Think Obama, Oprah Winfrey}
  • Surround your self with the Spiritual Essence of who you admire.
  • Think of this person as your Self Confidense Mentor.
  •  How does this person walk? Tall and straight? Wide strides?
  •  How does this person listen to people? {too much "me" appears needy.}
  • Does this person look directly into another’s eyes? {so can you}
  • Does this person shake hands by reaching out first? {so can you}
  • Visualize their smile....adopt it as your own style.
  • Download" your mentor's positive qualities for job interviews.
  • Play this personality in your mind by heart, as a Tool for more self confidence and people skills.

Adopt Elegance to open doors for success and better first appearances.

 You are here by invited to adopt qualities from a Visual Mentor to make your own personality more colorful.  It is like down loading a favorite song until you know it by heart.  Many actors use this art to make a scene flawless.   So can you!

  • Think of this as wearing tinted contact lenses to enhance your personality.
  •   Practice using this "tool"  for self confidense in job interviews and social situations in public.  Soon it will become natural to you.
  • We're not talking about Serial Celebrity worship.  We are talking about borrowing the behaviour of somone we admire and acting it out for job interviews, dates or public nerve wracking appearances.

Whether rich or poor, dressing Elegant makes a Good First Appearance.

  • Remember elegance is about "less is more" for self empowerment.
  • What colors does your visual mentor wear? Pastels, Neutrals, Classics?
  • Choose variations of classic colors that fit your skin tone.
  • How does your visual mentor's clothing fit? Choose flowing clothes not tight.
  • Wonderful Classic clothing can be purchased at Good Will & Thrift Stores.
  • Make sure your hair is clean, body smelling fresh.
  • What feels like "pretend" now, IS A COOL TOOL to achieve more in life.

Why Should You Build On More Self Confidense?

Now more then ever, you need to be ahead in job interviews.  This also means at the job itself, once you have it.  {You can do this!}

  • Adopt Elegance for better job interviews
  • Adopt Elegance to help make friends with like minded people.
  • Adopt Elegance to gain serenity, self confidence and a good first impression.
  • Remember when in doubt in a work enviroment, smile wisely.
  • People will think you are on their side and are very intelligent.

The Importance of a Great Hand Shake

  • Being the first to reach out your hand, shows polish and Elegance
  • Look your Interviewer in the eyes and smile. {Are you envisioning your mentor?}
  • Squeezing too hard on a hand shake seems Controlling
  • Squeezing too lightly seems Weak
  • Practise Medium Firm pressure to Accentuate Self Confidense.

*ALWAYS MAINTAIN WHO YOU ARE.  Be authentic.

*Learning Elegance is a great Tool for opening doors to new and better life chapters.

* Like all skills, we learn through imitation.  We have been doing it since babies.
