How to Develop Your Intuition
One of the ways that I mentor my clients on developing their intuition is by a system I call “The Scale.” I advise it to people who make chronic wrong choices on life mates, or financial investments. Often these people fall for perfect people that surprisingly end up opposite of what they thought they were, or make financial choices that gear more for comfort then financial gain. By using “The Scale” one relies with more confidence on their intuition. It takes a little visualization at first, but is easy to get the hang of. As like anything else in life, this is only an effective tool if it is consistently practiced.
THE SCALE OF INTUITON
The purpose of this exercise is to visualize what side of your body feels heaviest when presented by the dynamics of “material & financial” gain, or its opposite, "Spirit and Compassion." Later you can zone in on the different shades of grey. These qualities all will be felt when near people of “self” and “gain intent.” These feelings will also register when making financial choices for your self. Feel which side of your body is heaviest, without analyzing it. Always remember when you intellectualize intuition, it is gone..
MATIERIAL GAIN / {SELF}
Close your eyes and imagine your body is a scale. Stand before a pile of bills, a computer add, or inside the interior of your bank. The purpose of this exercise is to feel which side of your body weighs down like the heavy side of a scale. Is it the right side of your body? Or is the left side of your body heaviest?
COMPASSION AND SPIRIT
As you stroke your favorite pet, stand before your favorite color, or as you bond with your most comfortable best friend, which side of your body feels the heaviest? It will be opposite of the side of your body that registers “selfish gain “and “material needs.” This is the side of your body that registers compassion, spirituality and comfort. This is the side of the body you want to feel when you are around a person that could be a life mate.
The compassion and Spirit side of your body is NOT the side of your body you want to feel heaviest when making important financial decisions.
With practice you will find that it becomes easy to trust your body as a barometer for intuition. As in the term “gut feelings” intuition is usually registered within our body. Once you have tuned into the “Material” side, and “Spiritual” side, you allow yourself to fine tune your “Gut Feelings” .
