SPIRITUAL WOMAN / REDNECK PARTNER {CONTINUED}

Blog visitor comments on Spiritual Wife/ Redneck Huband

You know, also with out unusually open schedules, how do you cope with your partner not on the same schedule? I fear jealousy, competition, or just feeling left out if this person has normal aspirations ( work ).

I wanted to say, what a lovely entry, you have a knack for writing! And now, I know I am on the same path! :)

Thank you!  My partner/hubby is 14 years younger then me. We are both basically lone wolves.  He has a highly paid skill job out of the home.   I earn more income then my husband working from within our home.  As long as I do not use this as a weapon in fights, gloat or make him feel “less” for making less, he is absolutely not jealous.

Personality wise, I differ in that when I am out and about I love to talk to people.  He would rather not.  Is he jealous? Only if his favorite couch spot is sharing more time with the cats then he is. He also goes nuts if his weights are lonely without him.  He is an exercise addict.  {By the way this inspires me to be also.}

Within the home, as long as we are on the same grounds, we are "together".  I am past my needy stage in life.   Our presence within the home is more important then how close in inches we sit.   He tends to love to work out, read, make strong pots of rock gut Navy coffee, help out in the garden, watch birds and talk to his Philodendron plant, Frank.

We have no competitive jealousy.  We share little in common to compete about; except our animals, our coffee, our plants and our love to read.  We are almost completely on the "silent energy" level.  And that’s all right I have decided.   I`m tired of the partnership drama.  I look more for a silent partner-friend.  I can talk spirit with my "sisters".
