Master Tarot Strategy with lovely pictures on impactful topics.

TAROT SYMBOLISM * why certify?
Tarot Cards, a tool to access intuitive inner voice, work much in the same way an Ink Blot test does. Each picture and number wakes up an image or thought. Combining several cards together, in what is called a "lay out," creates a living story about ones personal journey. Tarot should never control ones actions, but allow a reference point, or suggested strategy through which overwhelming confusion can reach clarity. Always an Ali and never the boss, Tarot is a means for Intuitive exercise and growth.

PAPER,CLAY,FABRIC, STONE..Symbolism

Though the history of Tarot is ancient, in them selves, Tarot cards whether created on paper, stone, clay or fabric are all about Symbolism. Tarot Cards are a Tool to wake up "INTUITION," which is a gift that all mammals own to aid in survival through nature and war. Used with skill, Tarot gives strategy, emotional explanation and a plan. All final action must come from the attitude of free will and common sense. A psychic reader is only a guide.

TAROT FOR WRITING, COUNSELING, STRATEGY

Authors such as Steven King and John Steinbeck have used Tarot to create story plots for writing an out line of their books. Counselors have utilized Tarot cards through client hands on use, as picture symbolism to represent feelings. Many Psychic readers are like marathon runners that excel in heightened intuition. Tarot cards aid in cutting to the chase quickly and allow detailed sessions to get to the heart of the emotional matter so that healing strategy can begin.

WHY CERTIFY?

For  those that have been readers for a long time, it becomes clear that one must have something to offer that stands out amongst the multitude of intuitive workers  in the field now.

  • There is no denying experience and a portfolio of client testimony is valuable.
  • Accuracy and people skills shine even brighter.
  • Perhaps you are longing for a stronger upscale educated clientele and the love readings are getting a bit much.  You would like more variety.
  • Often more  then not a more educated client goes hand in hand with a wider variety of subject matter to read on.  {Although we all cry for love, rich or poor.}
  • Spirituality is widely accepted by everyone now. More educated clients are seeking reputable and ethical readers.
  • Drs, Lawyers, Bankers and Wall Street workers want proof that their reader is as certifiable as they have taken the time to be.
  • We too choose licensed professionals for our medical, judicial and and tax problems because it makes us feel more CONFIDENT.
  • Certifying proves that a reader "cares" about the ethics and procedure of reading and follows a code as a licensed light worker to be respected by all.

I agree there are a lot of benefits behind holding certifications and credentials in any given field (I hold a few myself!); however, on that same note there are just as many draw backs that rarely (if ever) get mentioned which I would like to take this opportunity to point out.

For example; the minute one "assumes" an individual in front of them (speaking in general terms) is an "expert" (in reference to anything - this is not exclusive to tarot cards, psychic readings, doctors  or any other profession for that matter ) perception kicks in and this act in its self invites the potential for disillusionment based on a paper trail assumption.

Nothing will ever replace common sense and caution when seeking advice (ANY advice!).

I realize you will probably erase this blog entry posting; but nonetheless I felt the need to post another perspective to bring to your attention the power of suggestion.

There are many educated idiots with paper on their walls.  You are not batting alone on this theory. As I pointed out above, nothing beats experience, good feed backs and years of experience. Certification in the Intuitive field is about building confidence in the client.

As the trend for more and more professionals reaching for intuitive strategy becomes the norm, it is also likely that certified people will want certified readers.  For readers that love a challenge, achieving certification is an achievement they can be proud of.

For years I thought certification was a joke, the Tarot equivalent of becoming an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church, only more expensive. A few months ago I finally sat down to read the testing requirements. As a Tarot geek, I was thrilled. Especially with the CPTR! "Troublesome" and "Impossible" questions? I can't wait until I've got the funds together to start my way through the certification process. :c)

Thanks for the comment Babs.  Anyone that has read the Tarot test requirements knows it is a personal accomplishment as well as a public one. American Tarot Ass. is a .org site. with the objective of passing only professionals that fully know their craft and  reading ethics.  There are 3 levels and then the "Master Tarot" test which requires the reader to have published articles or books on the Metaphysical field.  This is not a fly by night Association. {Active since 2001}

The publishing requirements made me happy, too. They're not steep to begin with (deck/book reviews to begin with, right?)and they provide pertinent professional direction. For those of us who'd rather be a DuQuette or a Pollack than a Mme Cleo. :c)
