The Silent Bond Between Artists

You can feel it.  There is a magical bonding energy when one artist falls in passion with another artist.   At times that energy is similar to the creative process of painting a new picture, sculpting a new statue or composing a new musical score.  Artists and Actors make the most explosive of unions together, rich in abstract creative passion.

Strangely an Artists Love can also get lost into competitiveness and a watchful fear.   What seems like the most perfect union of time is often short lived as the nature of each artist is to dive into creative new projects with complete abandon.   They know the day will come when another artist comes along that intrigues and mystifies.

Like a new painting, sculpture or music composition the urge to explore and dive full force into the creative process becomes obsessive.  Where will it go?  What will it come out like?  There is a need to shut the eyes and flow with the process. To not find out is to place the painter before a canvas and paints with amputated arms.

Could this be why so many times the Artist is with their opposite, someone that everyone goes "HUH?" when they see them together.  It may be that wealthy organized soul that helps the artist to stay focused in the real world.

A two artist union seems absolutely charismatic.  But add a mate with an anal desire to run the show with organization and focus and the artist seems to walk with a closed pod around them selves.  It's a sad sight but they go far with a marketer in their arms.

In my readings with Celebrities and Artists I see the relationship -painting as it builds into a crescendo, and I have seen the beauty dive.  Who ever I read for I am utterly honest about what I see.  My privacy with celebrity clients is sacred.  I will never post details or unwilling names for my own personal glory.

Though I have no doubt that the artist with artist union can be fateful as you suggest, I have seen artist couples grow old together.

A cozy thought yes, but is it not familiar?

Their combined vision can truly be celebrated by all who know them.  At the wedding of one such couple, the groom gave a very short toast:
"I could not marry my girlfriend, so I had to marry my best friend instead."

The couple has been together for twenty years,  and counting.

Though both were once fine arts photographers, the man gravitated to art direction, while the woman got her MFA and continued to show her work in galleries.

Their marriage has benefitted from both mutual support and creative problem solving.

The craftsman and the artist have dovetailed their sometimes-opposed creative energies with a little luck and a lot of work.
Though they play their cards close to their chests, sometimes appearing like a two-peopled planet, neither seems to have forgotten the artist's need for sanctuary.  And who would better recognize that need than another artist?

The exception of the rule is always possible.  How beautiful when this kind of man and woman can make it with out one becoming invisible, for the other to shine.  The Hollywood divorce rate is an example of the other side.
