Thank you for a great blog!!! I enjoyed listening to this blog.  Many people can benefit from the information provided. I have found myself with fewer friends just for this very reason. It also reminded me of my Fear blog.

Thanks for your comment.  Many times, one of the hardest things we have to do in life is to walk away from people who are determined to self destruct. Everyone wants to help people but we need to be very cautious and selective on those we invest in. Steve

Steve,    I know too well the mud puddle people.   I used to be one of them.  Walking in the light and breathing fresh air.  Enjoying the sunshine and happy almost.  Reinventing myself and deciding who I am not wondering who I am; deciding who I am.   That's the key I found.   You have been a blessing to me with these blogs and all the advice.   Bless you.    Love to you and your sweet wife,   Moon

I know about being that nice guy all too well. It happens exactly like you say. The woman would rather be abused than be treated like a princess, and the nice guy ends up being lied to, cheated on, and blown off. Been there.

Thought his comments were very helpful and basically described people that we all know or have known.  Hopefully we'll now know enough to avoid them without feeling guilty.  Those of us that are pleasers seem to be drawn to these people for some reason.  I wish I had heard this a long time ago but later late then never I always say.

Steven I have found that what you said it s so right. Not too long ago I felt so miserable I felt God forgot I existed and for a reason I tend to always find someone to blame. I got suicidal when in reality i think there was no reason why. And guess what for a reason I work with these women that are nothing but self destructive. I tried to help even though i needed help myself. I found so much dissapointment. All that I noticed with time it was with these type of people tragedy happened one after another. It was almost scary to be in that environment. The two women that are close to me are the best example of mud puddle people. People that dont love themselves and cheat and lie left and right. In fact one of these women s husband killed himself and I got to found the body with her and another coworker and just because she was cheating with another male. I started getting close to God and started believing that you know what I might not have so many things but God have blessed me with so many other and it s funny that the moment I decided to get spiritual everythin started making sense. I could see more and I learn to discern between right and wrong. It was like an eye opener. Now i have learnt that sometimes you have to be a little selfish and just let them be. They live in a circle abusive women are always the victim. I have learned they are always manipulatinga nd it s so scary. It s like they are always looking for an opressor so they can play the best victim role and so people feel pity for them. Im still trying to be positive so I dont want any of that around me. Im not suicidal anymore.

You cant help these people because they dont want to help themselves. I wanted to be out it and you know for people that s been in mud puddle it s like a constant battle so you dont go back there.

I think the mud puddle story is right on...but worse is that my situation is mud was being kicked at me!~

Anyway...Have you ever just felt like you could open up and ask or say anything to someone? Then a few minutes later find yourself shocked that you just shared all that? I did TODAY with Steve! I believe that my personal insight is unique and have been told this by many-however; this time all fog and doubt suddenly lifted and there was clarity! Not often that you sincerely feel in your heart and soul that someone is that in tune to you--but he is! Just pick up the phone-you'll see! *I would tell him personally how incredible he is, however I have reason to believe he already knows this! :-)
