Ok, you got me! I do not rant.  I do not participate in the negative energy of it, and I believe that people are entitled to whatever opinions, ideals, inspirations, creative thoughts that they wish to have, yet I am beginning to notice something that I am finding a bit “off”, and thought that I would post about it here.

Of course, I will warn you this may be controversial!  Those of the non-open minded should probably close this blog now.  As the information contained here could be dangerous to your psyche.

There seems to be this recent ideal that using anything besides “clairvoyance” (often referred to in a more generic term as psychic or “true” psychic) in a psychic reading is bad.    What most people do not realize is just how limiting clairvoyance alone can be.   So, I am sure some of you are asking, “What is clairvoyance?”

According to Dictionary.com clairvoyance is:

1.

The supernatural power of seeing objects or actions removed in space or time from natural viewing.

So based on its very definition it is limiting because it is “removed” from space (the physical dimension) and time (the way we measure events).

Further, most clairvoyant images are symbolic and need to be interpreted.   So, if you get the vision of someone with the ground swelling up beneath them, does this mean that the individual is going to be in an “earthquake” (god forbid) or that the solid foundation of their life around them is going to be shaken up and they may need to make changes based on this insight?   Based on its own definition clairvoyance is a tool just like any other tool such as tarot, playing cards, astrology, numerology etc.  Everything is subject to the interpretation of symbols via the reader.

I have written about the “ideals” and “beliefs” that were born out of Ms. Cleo’s Tarot Hotline in the 90’s, and since then many people have had disdain for any form of tool outside of the tool of clairvoyance (which most clairvoyants will tell you that timing is difficult, yet there is actually a field of astrology called horary, which specializes in timing – so if you want accurate times you might want to consider talking to an astrologer or even a card reader because some cards in the deck reflect timing) so I am not going to repeat it here.  Yet, what I want people to know is that many individuals that actually study other oracles of the metaphysical sciences do so for years!   For example, I have studied astrology, not because I was not clairvoyant but because I found it fascinating and I like to study the cycles of things beyond the physical.   Astrology is a constantly updated subject that requires constant continued education.  This goes along with other tools that I have often found helpful to clients, as often times you want confirmation (further evidence) of what you are seeing on the clairvoyant level to deliver to your clients.

It is my belief that as a reader, I should offer as much information to my clients as I can possibly get my hands on.  Continued education in a given field only helps provide more detailed, more sophisticated, more realistic, more accurate information that clients can rely upon.   The more knowledge about a subject or subject matter or a profession in the field of dealing with matters of the life of our clients is a good thing not one that should be looked down upon.  Remember, have an open mind and do not judge.
