The Moon in dutiful Virgo begins the first business week of 2010. News of a difficult financial decade for the United States and other western countries is the major headline on news shows and the blogosphere. Virgo is the astrological organizer or cosmic housekeeper, and when the Moon moves through this sign our focus is projected onto our day to day lives and the organizational structure that makes our lives work. We can use this energy to make our lives better by focusing on simplifying our lives to make them more productive. How are you making the most out of your productivity?
There is only one planetary aspect on Monday – the Sun will conjoin with Mercury retrograde. On a normal day, this would give way to brisk insightful communication and the ability for us to communicate what we would like effectively. However, since Mercury is retrograde we can use this energy along with the Virgo Moon to really reflect on our future. What do we really want? Mercury helps to give us insight and clarity, and by analyzing our situation on a deeper level can help alleviate much of the anxieties around us.
