Mercury Direct In Libra:

On October 11, 2007 the planet of communication, Mercury, began its retrograde motion in the sign of Scorpio.   This created (almost instantly this time according to many clients) an enormous rift in communication especially in relationships.  

Why?

If you look at the horoscope as a wheel of experience, starting with Aries and working your way through Pisces, you realize that the houses are building blocks upon other houses.  For example, in Aries we develop ourselves as it is the “me” sign, Taurus we discover we have a “physical body”, in Gemini we learn “communication skills”,  etc… We soon get to the sign of Libra, which has to do with relationships, whether that is business or personal.  

Then we arrive at Scorpio, which traditional astrology has labeled the sign of “death, taxes, and regeneration”, as it naturally rules the 8th house.  Follow me now!   How do we get from relationships to death and taxes, so what does this sign really mean?   I want to focus on the “transformation” characteristics of this house, because it gives us our answer.   Libra is relationships, and Scorpio is what happens to us after we are in relationships.   Further, when we have a relationship experience are we able to go back to the person we were before that relationship?  It utterly changes us and transforms us!

So, the communication problems we have been having over the last 3 weeks have really been about a “transformational” aspect.  We are all on some level, taking a deeper look at what it is that we want and need out of relationships, and needing to take a deeper look at what it is that we want out of our future relationships.

Mercury now is direct in Libra.    We can now put what we have learned into action!   Take your time now to reflect on what you need out of your future, and go forward and achieve it.   If you have been hesitating or being fearful about you relationship future, now is the time for you to either fix the problems in the relationship or move forward with your life.   The stagnancy of Mercury Retrograde is over, as are its illusions and misperceptions.   Welcome Back to the Real World! -- or at least till Mars goes retrograde!
