AUGUST 2008 OUTLOOK
Happy Birthday LEO and VIRGO Natives!!
This month’s Leo Sun is certainly dramatic right from the first day of August. August 1 gives us a New Moon Solar Eclipse at 9º32' of Leo!! This is the beginning of an exciting, sometimes challenging, year. While some areas of your life are likely to stay very much the same, you will have to deal with a rollercoaster ride if you are starting your own business or waiting to collect money that is due you. Wherever 9º32' Leo falls in your chart is the area of your life where you will focus for the next six months. The Solar Eclipse in Leo brings with it the ‘lesson of learning to give more of ourselves in a generous way’. Over the next six months, we will all be learning lessons that have to do with developing ego in more healthy ways. (Leo is ego.) And, the path that we will be creating will be true to our desires in a way that is not opposed by others.
Several other atmospheric shifts will occur this month adding to the power of the Solar Eclipse. A Lunar Eclipse occurs on the 16th at 24º21' Aquarius. Matters begun the week prior to any eclipse generally do not work out as planned. This is because we usually get information following the eclipse that we did not have during the week prior to its occurrence. The lessons of learning detachment will be at the forefront of our vision for the next six months. Your key to success lies in a willingness to adjust your creative plans so that they fit in with the bigger picture of what is going on as situations unfold. Mars in Virgo opposing Uranus makes you feel a little impatient but it does give you the energy to tackle tough tasks. Use this energy to make your goals more practical and real. The push to take the initiative and act on making your dreams come true is in full swing But, if you meet any resistance to your actions, the best bet is to step back and see how what you want to create may be at odds with others.
On the 23rd, Mercury and Venus oppose Uranus. Social dates and appointments are subject to sudden change. Be prepared to alter your schedule. A bit of humor in your communications will get more laughs than usual. Be innovative in presentations. From the 27th-29th Venus and Pluto join the mix and communications, love and social matters can have unexpected outcomes. There could possibly be manipulation and jealousy around you. Be Aware!!

Appointments will change suddenly and communication disruptions are likely. This month has two New Moons and the second New Moon is on the 30th at 7º48' Virgo. Venus will be moving into fair-minded Libra on the 31st and your view of the world will come into balance.
