Happy Birthday CANCER and LEO Natives!!
The month begins still vibrating from the Full Moon on May 31st, and the reverberations are likely to continue until the New Moon on the 14th.
Mars in Aries keeps the energy flowing, and Venus in Leo heats up passions. A reckless spirit of rebellion is presiding now, perhaps striking a blow for freedom or inventing a whole new identity.
The New Moon on the 14th is at 8:04am at 21°41’ Cancer. New Moons are always good times to envision our future and set new intentions. A New Moon in Cancer invites us to reflect on the current level of sustenance in our lives. Are we taking good care of our body? How’s our mental hygiene? Are we conscious of our thoughts, our feelings, our soul desires? This New Moon reminds us of the importance of monitoring each level of our being. Several other alignments potentialize this New Moon making it easier to see what we need and where to find it.
Jupiter and Pluto are retrograde in Sagittarius. Uranus is retrograde in Pisces and Neptune is retrograde in Aquarius. Venus goes retrograde on the 27th of July.
It is rare to have 6 planets retrograde in a single month. Think of this as an opportunity to pause and review your life. You will refine your image, your goals, redo jobs, or reconsider your stance on issues. :-)
Because Mercury is continuing its retrograde in Cancer during the first 9 days of the month, we will continue to be a bit confused and communication may be one of the primary issues. Questions arise concerning ways to increase security, and we evaluate family and friend relationships and their importance in our lives. Because Cancer rules food, this is also a good time to consider any new dietary choices you might like to make after Mercury goes direct on the 9th.
Venus
remains retrograde until September 17. This represents a significant shift in the social landscape. Venus retrograde prompts us to think about how are we interacting with those that are close. Are we treating them in a way that is healthy and ensures love? Are they treating us with respect? Whatever the situation may be, it is time to examine behavior patterns and correct any flaws. This Venus cycle also could draw in a love connection from the past - either from this life or a past life. Thus, it is good to be aware of anyone who comes into our lives now. If we connect on a deeper level, it could be unfinished business- a fellow soul with whom there is still something from the past that we have the opportunity to now complete in the present.
The Full Moon occurs on the 29th at 8:48pm at 6°31’ Aquarius. A major shift in the cosmic landscape is occuring. Look for an end to fruitless fantasies as you give form to dreams that can be realized. Heightened intelligence and open-mindedness are supported by this moon position. What is your passion? How do you want the world to be? This fiery Full Moon impels us to share our gifts and visions.
The Sun in Leo advises: Remember your divine essence and mission. At the same time you are being told to be true to yourself!! Look at your feelings with more detachment instead of taking everything personally. All Full Moons are emotional high tides, periods when our emotions are polarized and we dramatize our feelings. This Leo Sun is certainly dramatic.
