Today's Planetary Positions

The Moon is gliding through Capricorn, just in time to get everyone back to work and school after the Easter holiday break.  Your work benefits from Venus in Gemini later this week and it's possible you can look for some new perk possibly in the way of a raise.

The sky today is replete with magnificent light as we come upon a full-moon in Libra!!  All Libra's and those with Libra rising will feel a sense of fulfillment as life takes on a whole new meaning.

All others will feel a sense of renewal in some part of your life that needs a change.

This Friday we have the second Full Moon of the month at 10 degrees of Sagittarius.  THIS particular Full Moon is called a "Blue Moon"!  We have a Blue Moon approximately once every 2.7 years when we have two Full Moons in a month.  Thus the saying . . . . "ONCE IN A BLUE MOON"!

This Full Moon occurs when the Earth if in the constellation of Gemini at 10 degrees 11 minutes, and the Moon is exactly opposite the Earth at 10 degrees 11 minutes of Sagittarius, and occurs at exactly 8:04pm EST. Because the Full Moon occurs in Sagittarius it will inspire optimism.  So, keep your chin up and let me know what you see around you that is going good in your life.  

OR . . . . just think of the good things that you have - your health, a home, a family that loves you, a job (though you may not really like it!), your legs sthat walk, your eyes that see . . . and so on and so on.

WE ARE BLESSED in so many ways. This Full Moon is a good time to count them!!!  :-)

MERCURY!!!!!  

Mercury turns retrograde three times a year, as a rule, but the effects of each period are different.  A planet is described as retrograde when it appears to be moving backward through the zodiac.  Now, a planet doesn't ACTUALLY go backward.  It just looks that way because the movement of the planet is slower than the movement of Planet Earth and it looks like it is going backward because Earth is moving faster than it is.  

At this moment, Jupiter, Neptune AND Pluto are going retrograde (that is, moving slower than the Earth)!  

And, on June 23rd Uranus begins a 5 month retrograde cycle.  

Mercury turns retrograde this Friday the 15th of June at 11 degrees of Cancer and continues its retrogrademotion until Tuesday July 10th.  Mercury rules thinking and perception, processing information and all means of communication and transportation.  When Mercury goes retrograde you have no choice but to reconsider your personal views and opinions about life.  



Good things to do during this period:  

meditate, clean house, contemplate, listen to music, paint, catch up on sleep, brush up your resume, and finish what needs to be finished!!
