Horrible spring break experience made good by positive attitude Mar 19
Well, we decide to take the kids away for 3 days to an indoor waterpark. This seemed like a great idea, very affordable, 4 hours away and a nice change of pace.
We arrive, check in, get the passes to the waterpark eat lunch. They told us to come back at 3 for the room key. We go back and they give us a flier that stated they have had issues with stomach problems, vomitting, diarrhea and the fun begins. Do we still want to stay? Well, gosh yes if we aren't going to get sick?
Next they say all the linens were sent out to get washed as they disinfect the place and half the waterpark is closed while they wait for the board of health to consider it safe again.
We decided to take it easy, enjoy what was open, wait for the room etc etc.
Well, 3 became 4 became 5 became 6 and still each hour they say the room will be ready the next hour. Now, people are getting mad, tempers are rising, everyone is yelling at the hotel staff. We kept being pleasant, patient and kind.
They sent everyone to another hotel comped on them for the night. I get to the front of the line he quietly tells me DO NOT SAY ANYTHING and hands me a hotel key. Remember callers, I stayed positive, kind and I kept affirming that there was a room for us! It is 10 pm but they just checked us in and they are still comping me for the night since I waited so long!
The power of being positive and good to people ALWAYS comes back 3 fold!
Now, I seriously do not think they have done a good job here, I pray we dont get sick , and I hope to catch up my calls tomorrow!
I thought I'd share my story of another law of attraction story that came to fruition!
