The Lunar Eclipse on NEW YEAR's EVE
2009 ends with a Lunar Eclipse. The Lunar Eclipse alerts us that there will probably be something we will have to let go of over the next 6 months. Since the eclipse occurs at 10 degrees Cancer, family and domestic matters, caring and nurturing females, as well as, our own sensitive feelings are likely to be involved in the “letting go.”
An eclipse in Cancer can have many meanings. For example, MOVING, especially out of the family home. (Home and Family are classic themes of the sign Cancer.) On the other hand, this eclipse may also mean a mother letting go of her child.
Another interpretation of the eclipse could signal, letting go of INSECURITY and bravely forging a new path. Cancers tend to be ultra sensitive and self-protective of their feelings. This eclipse could diffuse some of that insecure cancerian energy that stands in the way of personal growth.
Yet, a more serious interpretation of this eclipse could point to FAMILY BREAK-UPS. In some cases, separation or divorce may be the best choices available, and this eclipse may ring the bell that it's time to start the process.
There are many ways an eclipse can manifest. However, please bear in mind that if 10 degrees Cancer does not make an exact aspect to any of your planets, then you are likely to escape the effects of the eclipse; or, at very least, to experience them mildly.
Always remember: Everything is good. Change forces us to grow and through growth we evolve and become self-actualized and fulfilled.
