If He or She says they are going to call and does not, does that mean they are not into you?

When speaking to several men and women about the topic there have been many scenario’s as to why the phone call did not come through as expected. You went on the first date and he or she asked for your number and you wait and wait and wait and the call does not seem to come through like promised. Why ask for the number to begin with? To not be rude, is that the way a date is supposed to end, dishonest in order to not hurt feelings. Is this person waiting in order to not feel desperate? Do we over-think the phone call and wait by the phone?

Speaking to several different people there are actually many reasons the call does not come through immediately or ever. There are times when men lose the number and you would be surprised at how often this happens. There are also times when yes the person is just not that into you. I was even told there are also times when the person gets tied up in their day to day and completely loses track.

I have read many people on the topic and can see if the phone call is coming or not to bother waiting at all. The bottom line is whatever the case may be it is important not to sit by the phone waiting for the call. Literally go on with your day to day activities too. If he calls, he calls if not you know that the number was lost (which I must admit I have done myself) or there is no intention to call at all. This person may be married, involved or just completely preoccupied.

The bottom line is waiting for the call is not healthy either way. If you read my blog about energy someone will feel the fact that you are not waiting and are going about your day to day. That is when the thrill of the chase begins. There are definitely times when the call will never come through. That is another big reason to continue on with your life.

If the call never comes through the best way to look at it is this was not meant to be. Listen to the old Garth Brooks song “Thank God for unanswered prayers.” It is basically about a man who prays for his HS sweetheart and is grateful the prayer was not answered because if it was he would have never met his wife who’s love could not compare to the woman he was praying about.

Trust me when I tell you we can grieve the loss of an old love but usually you will be quite surprised at what the universe really has in store for us. I am sure you felt completely in love at one point in your life and when real true love enters you never look back.

Remember to put the focus on you and love you first even on that date that may never call. Self-love brings real true love into our lives and when that happens it is more than an attraction or a great dinner your heart will literally skip a beat. Sometimes we really need to thank God for unanswered prayers. God and the Universe know what will bring us true happiness. Be open and receptive to what is to come. It will surely be much more than expected and the wait will be over.
