It’s not easy being a messenger of Spirit.
Being Psychic isn’t easy, it isn’t glamorous and quite often we are ridiculed, verbally abused, it’s the only profession I know of where we are “tested” time and time again, asked to provide our services for free, expected to be available 24/7 by some., and on some occasions expected to come up with answers to questions at the blink of an eye. Sometimes we are expected to take total responsibility for someone else’s actions or words, and quite often we will have the phone call ended without so much as a thank you.
We are expected to be all things to all people, bereavement councillor, relationship councillor, life coach, career coach, and we are there for all of you in the capacity you need us to be for as long as we are needed, showing you what routes are open for you to take, being a sounding board for you letting you talk through your thoughts, or simply just giving you strength to get through the next obstacle.
There is a very serious side to this profession and I, like a lot of readers play our part in your life journey with utmost integrity, compassion and often put you first before ourselves and our families, because our calling in life is to help who we can the best we can.
Lots of us have crystals near to hand for protection against negativity, we do spiritual cleansing regularly, we seek guidance for ourselves from Spirit, we practise meditation. We are more sensitive to the feelings and thoughts of others, we have to learn how to deliver the messages we get from Spirit in a way that will empower you and help you make the best decisions to allow you to achieve the life you deserve, and that isn’t always easy if you don’t want to hear what is being given to you because it is the opposite of what you were wanting to hear. We have to take you through your journey one step at a time and sometimes that is just too slow for some of you.
Some of us will continue to hold you up to the light even after you have phoned us, we will add you to prayer lists, we will send healing your way, we continue to work behind the scenes for you long after you have put the phone down, usually without you knowing we are doing it.
Some of us have been through just about everything there is to go through in life and can therefore empathise completely with how you are feeling at certain points in your journey and this does help us help you. Sometimes the help you need is practical rather than spiritual because you are simply not yet in the right place to receive spiritual help. You see you have to allow Spirit to work in your life and if you are not seeing the truth of your situation for what ever reason you will block Spirit from working with you, that is when our guidance is needed to help you move into a place where you work with Spirit instead of against Spirit. Sometimes we are told to help you find the answers yourself by helping you look deep within yourself, rather than just handing you the answers on a plate.
We have access to the full instructions on how to get you into a position in life that will serve you the best way possible for the best outcome possible. Some of us not only see the outcome of a situation but can also give you the instruction of how to get to that outcome, sometimes this may appear to be sending you in the opposite direction of where you want to go, but not every destination can be reached “as the crow flies”.
We don’t always see everything, if Spirit knows you yourself will be looking at things from a different perspective a little further down the time line, Spirit won’t let us see what happens then until you get to that point.
Psychics can be very empowering beings, but you have to allow us to work with you. We are not just about, “when” or “what”, we are also about “how”. There are many clients who would get a lot more from their readings if they would only realise that Psychics are not just “fortune tellers” but “mentors”, “guidance coaches” , “Spiritual beings put on earth to help you achieve your dreams”. We are here to help you, but we can only do that if you are willing to let us, we don’t perform miracles for you, we teach you how to perform those yourself.
Remember we use a lot of energy for your readings, we take a lot of abuse from a lot of people who have a very narrow understanding of “Psychic”, and expect us to put in the work for them without them putting in any work for themselves, we feel your pain, your anguish, your despair, and we do our absolute best to help you through that and out the other side.
