The Law Of The Strangle Hold
Or as some people call it the Law of Attachment.
Most of us live our lives based on attachment to things, jobs, houses, cars, even the people around us, in fact anything and anyone we Need to make our lives complete can be said is an attachment to us.
The thing that causes us to have an attachment to something is simply our need for status. We tend to think of ourselves in terms of our job or the address we live at, whether or not we own our own house, or some people use a car as a status symbol, some marry not for love but for status.
As much as the next person I like to have nice things, I live in a lovely cottage that I am doing up, I own a car, I have a wonderful daughter. My work allows me to have a great life style even if I am in the lower earnings bracket, but I could give it all up tomorrow because none of it makes me happy, it just adds to the happiness that is within me.
Like everyone else I have bills to pay and I sometimes find myself slipping into the worry of whether I have enough money to pay them, then I remember that worrying about something is actually a form of attachment and attachment means I Need that thing and don’t want to let it go, and I then realise by worrying about the bill I’m really holding onto it and not allowing it to pass on through, so I then revert to the Law of Attraction and attract the money needed to let the bill go on by.
Law of Attachment doesn’t allow for growth but causes stagnation, anything or anyone you are attached to you are in fact holding prisoner.
Letting go of something or someone doesn’t mean getting rid of it, it means giving it freedom to allow it or the person and especially yourself to move with a positive life enhancing flow.
Blessings.
