Debra,
I have two elderly parents, whom I am blessed to still have alive and while one is healthy, one is not so healthy. She has high blood pressure, borderline diabetes, lupus, rhumatoid arthritis, and limited kidney function to mention a few issues and she turns 80 in December and my dad who will be 82 in Sept, is flying around the golf course like a crazed man, I think his golf keeps him alive thank god and I was just thinking how lucky I am. I so understand and truly feel your pain regarding your dad, I wish him healing and I wish you time with him to cherish :-)

You have been such a source of comfort to me during this past year, and I wish you and your Dad all my support and prayers at this time.  I know you how much you love your Dad and knowing how much he loves you will hopefully give you a sense of peace right now.  I wish you all the best!!! My heart is touched by all your kind words....and such love sent from all of you. Thank you.
My Dad did pass today......it was a very emotional day for me......and I will miss him so very much...I selfishly so wanted much more time with him......but I know he is at peace now....and he is "home" .....My Dad will forever be with me in my heart.....
My dad and I became so much closer over the past year and I forever will be grateful to have had the opportunity to take care of him and let him know how very much I loved him.


I will be available Thursday....off and on thru the day.....
Friday is my Dad's services.....so if I feel up to it..I will be here in the evening.
Again....I know many of you feel concern that you are bothering me ...YOU are NOT....I always make the decision to read for you ONLY if I feel I can......

My heart goes out to you and your family. My family and I went through pretty much the same thing a month ago...my uncle passed away with kidney and liver failure..his body pretty much gave in. So, I know how difficult it is. Take care of yourself and your family. My prayers are with you.

Debra,
I was my Dad's little girl.  The sad part was that I didn't know it till after he died. Growing up, we feared and revered my Dad. And there are days when I wished he was *here*, so I could talk with.  In all actuality, he IS here, right beside me, cheering me on, guiding me on my way.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your Dad.  Enjoy the time you have left and walk beside him on this journey....Cheryl
