the antibiotics will work as well as the pain killer but as soon as you can, go back to the dentist so he can treat your tooth, I work in a dental office

Ooh, that is some pain. I would take the pain killer and go straight to bed! I am sure ur clients would understand, it takes a couple of days for it to work.. Hope u get better~ Melody

An abscess is pretty serious and very painful. I had one myself. Take it easy and get some rest. We will be here patiently awaiting your healthy return! Thanks for all the great advice and comfort!
