When you're in LOVE, any day can be Valentine's Day!

Good morning, Sweet Spirits!

This morning I awoke missing my husband.  He had to work all night due to a state of emergency called by the Governer.  While I was getting dressed, I saw the pink ribbon which adorned my Valentine's Day gift.  I am still holding it as I write this first entry in my blog.

Very early this morning, my sister-in-law called me in tears to tell me that her husband's biopsy results came back yesterday; he has colon cancer.  Thankfully, his prognosis is good (with surgery).  She was grateful that I insisted on a colonoscopy for him (he's too young to have routine colonoscopies and there is no family history of any type of cancer).

Life can change in just a moment.  It's important for us to treasure each second.

Tonight, my husband will be much too tired to go out for dinner.  Still, I think we can have a special evening at home.  I've already chosen my (seriously cute) dress and shoes and I will prepare a light dinner and play some soft music.  Later today, I will search for a nice Chardonnay to accompany our meal.

This morning I made a promise to myself.
My husband will KNOW he is my Valentine every day of the year...
forever.

your husband is 1 lucky man i love my wife and i am going to make her think every day is vaentine day great idea
