YOU SHOULD LOOK AT BEFORE STARTING A RELATIONSHIP:
There are things that many people do not look at and then
begin a never ending cycle of failed relationships….they are in and out of
relationships …..SO STOP IT
and take a hard look at yourself. Answer the following questions:
1. ARE YOU READY FOR A NEW RELATIONSHIP?
If you automatically answered yes, then
rethink the answer. Relationships take time to build,
Grow, and nurturer. You need to have
the things in you life ready for the new relationship.
Which means, if you still hanging on to
thoughts of the last relationship and tear up the minute
you go to places you met them or had
the first date, then NO YOUR NOT
READY FOR the next relationship. Stay single….meet and acquire new
friends.
2. HAVE YOU DEALT WITH YOUR BAGGAGE?
This means….have you put away the old
pictures, took off the ring and dealt with the bad
times that you have gone through.
3. HAVE YOU TRULY MOVED ON FROM YOUR PAST
RELATIONSHIP(S)?
This means that your are no longer
looking at the past relationship for anything including a
friendship, they are not calling you
continually and acting as your boyfriend….even if you are NOT involved.
4. DO YOU HAVE TIME FOR A RELATIONSHIP?
Relationships take a lot of time (From
10- 20 hours per week). Do you have that time to give to the relationship,
unconditionally, without letting go of your life.
5. ARE YOU MENTALLY READY FOR A
RELATIONSHIP.
Relationships take a lot of mental
thought and feeling. Can you handle that?
6. CAN YOU STAND ON YOUR OWN TWO FEET?
Can you do with without relying on your
friends and family for support….or even worst your
former relationships for fulfillment.
7. CAN YOU STOP THINKING/TALKING ABOUT
PREVIOUS RELATIONSHIPS?
If you still can't stop thinking or
talking about what has happened in your past relationships, then you still need
to heal and you need to move past this before moving into the future.
If you answered NO to any of these questions, then you should give it
more time before starting a real relationship. You need to finish working on
yourself before trying to build something with someone else
