The Throat Chakra is located in the center of the throat. This Chakra is blue and represents truth. When you speak truth with compassion and do not hold back, this Chakra will be Sapphire blue. The Throat Chakra is almost never in perfect condition.
We have been conditioned to believe that we should not speak if we might hurt another. And while there is some truth to that, it is incomplete. Compassionate motivation often keeps us from saying what needs to be said, and resentment or fear can also keep us from communicating clearly.
The simple rule of thumb for a healthy Throat Chakra is to allow the messages we feel a need to communicate, to flow through our Solar Chakra where truth will be separated from emotional turmoil, on through the Heart Chakra where the filtered truth will find a loving, compassionate perspective, through the Spirit Chakra where the wisdom to express that compassionate truth is born, and then through the Throat Chakra where we will express compassionate truth. If you can allow the process to happen and visually exercise it you will be amazed at how well your truth is understood to be a loving truth, and you will be amazed at how much easier it is to love people whom you have never loved before.
The Throat Chakra and the Solar Chakra are strongly connected. The Solar Chakra is your truth filter; the Throat Chakra is the expressor of that truth.
