Today we were putting one of those portable air conditioners in and the kitwits had to get involved. At first, Purdy von Sweets had to sit in the window and supervise. She does not get her paws dirty. Then George got out the power tools and Purrbah showed up. You should have seen him admiring that drill. I think he wants a little tool belt. Of course Napoleon stayed in the kitchen as he does not do menial labor nor associate with those who do. Josephina was into to everything for looking something new to play with. They truly are amazing. I think Purrbah is going to be a contractor cat. He loves the power tools.
We had another two hour monsoon and lost power for an hour. The phones, even cell, still are not working right. I haven’t seen rain like this since I lived in the real tropics and then it was every day for a half an hour just as I would get out of school.
