Forecast and Fairy Finder for 7/21/07: feel the magic

Saturday’s Tarot Card is the Three of Swords: desolation, reversed. In the Rider deck this mean heartaches are easing. In this deck it means it is time to face the deep dejection, mourn if you have to and then open yourself to the fear. Through that you will banish it forever from your experience and have a new foundation to build on that connects to your true inner self.

Astrologically strange dreams and unreleased energy may have you up early with no idea what to do. Even making coffee turns into a challenge. Between 9:30 and 11:30 AM, divination is favored. Then the day really gets going. Restrictions are lifted and rules eased leading to an easy afternoon and the night is filled with transforming ideas. Attend a spiritual gathering.

The Fairies say enjoy and embrace the magic of nature. Spend time outdoors and absorb the ideas, information and healing energy that she has to share with you. Reconnect with Mother Earth and ground yourself. In the summer, particularly where I am in Florida, we tend to huddle in air conditioning and lose our ties to nature. Get out there and wiggle your toes in the dirt. If nothing else, and my allergies are so bad I can’t stop sneezing today, do some houseplant gardening.

Today’s Fairy Finder says to be on the lookout for Sage. He is the wise man and shaman of the woods. He often appears as a face in the woods or a tree. He sees the singers and he knows the world. He may appear completely detached and emotionless but he sees the connections between all things. To see him, you will need some quiet time in the shade in the forest near some really old trees. Don’t bother to ask questions. As the perpetual student he is more interested in what he is discovering than your needs. But connecting with him will allow you to see the connectedness of all things and that in itself is sometimes described as ecstasy. Hug a tree.
