Today’s Tarot Card is the Tower: attention. In most other decks the Tower means destruction and accidents. In this deck it has a very different meaning. As your inner conflicts grow, the two halves of your personality separate from each other. This tower is the tower of false convictions, both inner and outer and we need to tear them down brick by brick by facing your inner fears and their causes and the façade you offer the world. As you remove each block, your abundance and forward momentum will grow. In other words, you cannot hope to succeed and have happiness if you are pretending to be something you are not.

Astrologically, the second quarter of the moon begins at 2:46 PM EST. The Aries Moon has us rushing to look our best even if we have to get out of bed and hour early. But alas, in the morning hours most things are just illusion and we could have slept in. By afternoon there is a change in the energies as the moon and sun enter into a hard aspect. In the rush to look better we may have left a huge whole that looks into the real us and guess who is going to see through the illusion? The answer is anyone in authority. Late tonight the rush is on for both justice and transformation, neither of which can actually be rushed. The Moon enters Taurus at 11:13 PM EST and people become stingy and stubborn. This is not the moon to try and borrow anything under.

This can happen from the inside out or the outside in as in rising to the occasion. Nelys carries a rowan wand and when things stuck and we start stagnating, she waves it and things happen. So be wary of invoking her. She can bring radical change and readjustment. If what is wrong is a result of our inner beliefs, she will shake them to the foundations.
