My God Box
I have had a God Box for many years, and it has been a powerful influence in my life. I am not a religious person; however, I know God is always with me. A God BoX is anything you wish it to be. For me, it is a small box that I decorated and then wrote God Box at the top.
Put whatever you wish for in your hand made God box, say "Thank you God for creating......" Now fold it and date it. Pretty soon your God Box will be full. I pick one everyday; and if I pick one at least two days in a row, I know it is going to happen.
Encourage your children to have a God Box as well. When they see that it is possible to have their hopes and dreams coming true, not only will their faith in God increase, but their faith in themselves and what they can accomplish, as well. In the beginning, they might start if wishing for games, etc. As time goes on their dreams will get bigger.
Many years ago, after 14 years of struggling to get my dad's family out of Russia, I placed my wish for them to be here in my God Box - "Thank you God for all 10 of my dad's relatives are here safe and sound in my parents' house". A year went buy, and I actually forgot it was in there. Well, in one week I picked it 4 days in a row. I called my parents and my aunt to tell them about my God Box and how I picked my wish for them to be here. They said thank you, but I knew they thought I was being crazy. I KNEW they were coming, and the next week all 10 of them got their visas. My parents and my aunt called me thanking me profously. I cried the whole day, not only because my russian relatives were coming, but because my parents believed in me. They all arrived shortly after that. One month later, my cousin's husband unexpectedly passed away. A short time after that, I decided to clean out my God Box. Many of my wishes had happened, and I needed to update my God Box. When I found the piece of paper about my Russian Relatives, mysteriously the 10 had been crossed out, and in its place was the number 9. Now how powerful is that! God works in mysterious and life changing ways.
