Every able healer or guide needs a code of ethics to stand by. Whether you are dedicated to the physical level of consciousness as a doctor, physical therapist, body worker, or the mental level as a counselor or teacher or the spiritual level as a religious leader or a psychic: The higher your standard of ethics is, the greater your abilities will become.

I will take full responsibility for my own energy.

I will set it and run it accordingly.

I will take the time to ground myself.

I will be committed to being in my Body experiencing the present moment. I will not undermine another by taking on their problems; I create no dependencies. Instead, by example, I will teach the laws of autonomy and free will.

How do I know if I have become "reader dependant"?

When you find yourself feeling the need to seek out a reader for even the everyday decisions, readings have become un-empowering for you, and you may wish to consider taking a break from readings until major life events occur to warrant one or crisis situations occur in your life and you feel you need some guidance.

Life is all about finding a balance, and it is the same with psychic readings.  It is your responsibility to use them wisely in conjunction with your  higher self.  It is a helpful tool, not a substitution for using your own common sense and intuition.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET A READING?

How often should I get a reading?

Basically it is up to you how often you would like a reading. Readings can help as things change or new choices present themselves to you.   During a crisis, a client will often have more readings than usual, when it is needed to assist in a situation, such as someone going through a breakup, divorce, work related issues, or suffering a loss of a loved one.  During those crucial times I do offer substantial discounts in order to assist my clients as they deal with their crisis. I will be happy to discuss your particular needs and work out a plan that benefits you!

Many of my clients have monthly readings and discuss different topics each time to assist in gaining a broader perspective of their ever changing lives.  Some have a reading each year on their birthday to gain a perspective on the year ahead.

Asking the same question week after week does not assist you because it gives little time for anything new to happen.  Just as seeking psychic advice from several readers at one time, about a particular situation can also be confusing. Remember first and foremost it is important to listen to your higher self, not to keep getting readings until you find the answers you want to hear. 

Distinguish your panic and insecurities from wanting to see the next step in your path. A good honest reader will not allow you to become reader dependent.

I feel a personal responsibility to all my clients and will tell them if I feel they are requesting too many readings than they need.  I also work with healing energies, as a Reiki master, and use that to assist in balancing their chakras to alleviate the fear and panic of waiting for something to happen.

Should I accept all the information a reader offers, as fact?

Absolutely Not! A reader sees information as it filters through his or her own consciousness. The details are subject to the interpretation and prospective of the reader. Accept what is correct or feels correct to you and disregard that which is not. It is also important to recognize that a reading is based upon your current path. If you make other choices, then you alter your path, and consequently the outcomes shown in the reading. Many people choose to get periodic readings as they alter their paths by their decisions. 

It is always a good idea to make notes during a reading, so that you can review it later.  There is only so much information you can absorb during a reading, therefore notes help you to reflect later and you will be surprised how much more of the information resonates when you review it!   Many times information that appears to not have meaning at the time of the reading manifests later, as a psychic reader is looking at the options that lay AHEAD, options you have not become aware of yet.  By keeping notes you can reflect upon what the psychic reader has told you, and be prepared for when the events begin to take shape!

What are your responsibilities in a reading?

Your responsibilities are to be on time, willing and open-minded. You must also be prepared to use your own discernment to determine what feels right.

You are also responsible for using your common sense, and responsible for staying within the confines of your financial budget.  No one can “take you” for thousands of dollars unless you give it to them.  I have heard many stories from clients who relate tales of spending thousands on inaccurate readings.  If you are dissatisfied after several readings, try someone else.  All readers are tapping into universal energy and therefore certain aspects of the readings will ring true through several readers.  It is your responsibility to choose wisely!

HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A PSYCHIC READING

How do you prepare for a psychic reading?

It is in your best interest to be open to incoming information. Go with as few preconceived ideas as possible. Listen without judgment. Have a list of questions you would like information about. Remember you may not always get what you asked for, but you will get what you need. Just be open enough to listen. 

Do not waste your reading on trying to play trick the reader.  A psychic reader has wonderful gifts, but do not expect them know every nickname of every family member or what the color was your Uncle Harvey’s Cadillac.  Yes it was white, just like his belt and shoes….

Understand that no psychic, no matter how good they are, will be 100% correct on each and every point.  Free will changes energy, and what may be true today, may change in several months.  Be open to allowing a reading to take shape and form.  Sometimes it takes time for things to happen.  Ask your reader how you can best work with the energy presented, and how you can assist in meeting your goals and desires.  

WAHT SHOULD YOU EXPECT FROM A PSYCHIC READING?

What should I expect from a psychic reading?

You should expect to be shown options, possibilities to allow you to more easily make your own choices.   You should not expect the reader to tell you what to do or to give you all the answers.

 An honest reader will only show you the paths presented and will encourage you to make your own decisions. An honest reader will not try to charge extra fees to remove "curses" or get rid of "bad luck".

When receiving information through a reading, you may wish to consider what is presented but always use common sense and your higher self before making final decisions.

How do I know if I have picked the right psychic reader for me?

How comfortable do you feel? Does the reader encourage you? Make you feel empowered?

 You are seeking someone who feels good to you. Someone you can easily talk to.

Someone you feel you can trust.

There are no standards of practice in this business, and therefore the term “buyer beware” is important to remember.  If a reading does not feel right to you, then step back and re-evaluate the information.  Sometimes the reader may not be connecting with you, and other times they may just be having a bad day.  No one is “on” 24/7.  Even a good reader can have an off day.

Ask for clarity, and question when the information does not resonate with you. 

An ethical professional reader will not mind you questioning the information as they desire to empower you!   

I have been a professional psychic medium for over 20 years and have heard every horror story you could imagine regarding unethical practices. It is such a shame to hear that there are people who choose to misuse a clients’ trust. 

Remember, when the "good of all" is not considered, things go sadly awry.

I work with the Light and assisting clients to work with positive energies to create change in their lives.  It is YOUR life, and therefore the decisions you make have to be ones you are comfortable with. 

As a psychic all I can do is present to you options that appear.  You choose what you believe is the right path for you.  Yes, I can show you the pitfalls, bumps in the road, and options that will assist you to make positive choices, but in the end YOU are the one responsible for your decisions. 

Understand that there are no wrong decisions, as whatever path you choose will teach you lessons and assist you in your life.  Yes, there are easier roads to travel, and you will have to consider if you desire the easy way or the path less travelled that may have more challenges ahead.

My reputation is important to me, and I take care with my clients, always holding their best interest to heart.  I may not tell you want you WANT to hear, but will always tell you what Spirit feels you NEED to hear.  Accuracy, Honesty, Integrity and Ethics are what I base my practice on.

Please do not expect to get a complete reading in one or two minutes.  Although a good psychic can offer information in that time, expect to invest at the very least 10 to 15 minutes in a reading in order to get beyond the surface to the information that can really help change your life for the better.    If the question is so important that you decide to get a psychic reading, allow the psychic to present you with the best they have to offer!

Most of my clients opt for 15, 30 or 60 minutes depending on the number of questions/concerns and time they wish to spend communicating with loved ones on the other side.  You have to decide what your needs are and how much you are comfortable investing in a solid, accurate psychic reading. 

When trying a new psychic reader, you may wish to consider planning to address one question, and invest in 10-15 minutes.  Keep yourself focused on the one area of concern and either record the session or take notes.  It is hard to remember everything even in that short a time!

If the reader you have chosen, fulfills your expectations, you can always call back with additional questions and concerns, and please remember to stay within your financial budget! You will feel so much better about the reading if you have not spent your rent money on it!

How do I choose a psychic reader?

It is important to find a reader you like; trust and whom you believe will tell you the truth. Talk to several readers.

Ask questions.

If the reading is not connecting with you at all, and none of it rings true to some part of yourself, always trust your own inner self.  You should never believe something that a reader tells you, just because you think they "know." It must ring true to your higher self. To get the most out of a reading you need to trust first and foremost in your own higher self.
