Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while and leave footprints on our heart and we are never, ever the same.

Who has left footprints on your heart?
No Act of Kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.
Aesop
Random acts of kindness benefit the soul, and allow us to focus on doing good for others, rather than on our own stresses or problems. Take time today to pay it forward, and make someone's day a little more special. Even better, make it a daily ritual, and see how much more blessed you feel in giving, with no expectation of receiving anything back.
It is one of the great mysteries of life. Many people notice that when they do something good for another, it often backfires, and creates further problems. Personally, I love helping others, and always do it with the idea of simply helping them, with no desire for anything in return. What I have found though, is that even good deeds can be problematic. Do I stop doing them? No way! Have I learned to see the lessons when the outcomes are not what I originally expected? You betcha! Some of my greatest lessons have come this way, and I am totally in gratitude for them. What lessons have you learned from doing good deeds?
The dust of many crumbled cities settles over us like a forgetful doze, but we are older than those cities. We began as a mineral. We emerged into plant life and into the animal state, and then into being human, and always we have forgotten our former states, except in early spring when we slightly recall being green again. That's how a young person turns toward a teacher. That's how a baby leans toward the breast, without knowing the secret of its desire, yet turning instinctively. Humankind is being led along an evolving course, through this migration of intelligences, and though we seem to be sleeping, there is an inner wakefulness that directs the dream, and that will eventually startle us back to the truth of who we are.
Rumi
What have you done today to discover more about who you are?
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do.
Eleanor Roosevelt
Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.
Carl Jung
