A couple of weeks ago my brother and I took a hike on a trail that lead back into what used to be the center of a town called Dana. Dana is one of four towns that were disincorporated and dismantled to make way for the Quabbin Reservoir which provides drinking water to the city of Boston. All that is left to remind people of it's existence are cellar holes and a few leftovers such as fence posts and a cement roadway. There are only a handful of former residents left who remember the days in the 1930s when life as they knew it came to an end. When I went there recently, I happened to arrive at the only time during the year that these former residents and their descendent's meet for the Dana Common Reunion. People were given the opportunity to speak and above was something I remember very distinctly being said.

What it reminds me of is how much of an illusion the physical world really is.

The fact that 4 towns and the little villages connected to them can be wiped out with very little trace left and something else put in its place suggests to me that so much more can be moved and replaced.

The physical world is what we as a society make it, and we as a unit can change it. Just as you can change your own life. You can alter the world you live in. You can change the way you choose to live. Remake your personal reality like you would remake your bed. With clean sheets and new pillows and new dreams...

 

 

 

 

"What do I do with all of the hate I've brought home with me?"

The above quote is from a man who survived the Bataan Death March during World War II. Tens of Thousands of Filipino and American POWs were forced by the Japanese to march 66 miles in the hot blazing sun. Seven thousand of the prisoners died as a result of the indignities enforced on them. What was done was so horrible that the commander who ordered the march was tried and executed for war crimes following the war.

The fact that the man who said that was able to think that suggests to me that he much further ahead than many of his peers. Identifying that this is a problem, especially when you have to live with Asian Americans in your world, is the first step toward healing it.

It took me a process of awareness to understand what I faced in terms of forgiveness. I had to open up my heart with my parents and admit that despite everything that had happened, I did love them. From there I was able to try and put myself in their head as to what could lead them to behave as they did. Once sympathy came through, I was able to work with it. While I am still convinced of the wrongness of what they did, I can forgive. It became pointless to hold onto it.

Forgiving myself...that's another matter. It's taken a long time for that. Once I did I began to see that much of my fear over letting others in was over things that I feared others would have an issue with. Fears that I would be abused and hurt by others over my past. Some of it I still can't verbalize, it effects me that deeply. In the end, dealing with them all, looking at them, and accepting what happened has made a world of difference in my self esteem.

It's not an easy journey by any stretch of the imagination. It is, however, one that brings great enlightenment and a certain measure of peace.

 "When she and I met it was as if I had known her forever, and it was the same for her.  Our communication is profound.  We can look at each other sometimes and have total understanding."

 

Sounds like something out of the latest Nora Roberts Romance Novel or a fairy tale.  It's a classic concept that people have been writing about for centuries.  They've been writing about because it exists.  The quote above comes not from a work of fiction but from the mouth of a very good friend of mine.  He was describing his then fiancée now wife and their relationship.  I've actually SEEN what he is talking about.  Their silent communication is astounding. 

 

What is passing between them is what we in the Psychic World call a Spiritual Connection.  People who experience these connections do so in varying degrees.  Some simply feel the presence of the other.  Others actually feel their feelings and gain knowledge and insight about the other person through the connection. There have even been reports of Telepathy.

 

It's not just couples that experience this phenomenon.  It's best friends, siblings (especially twins), and other relatives and (most amazingly to me) parents and children.  So when your mother said, "I know what you've been up to!" she may not have gotten that information from the neighbor kid's mom. 

 

Parents often feel a connection with their children.  There have been considerable news reports about parents having a "sixth sense" about their children and their activities.  This is a spiritual connection in action.  That best friend who you feel knows you like a book, that you can tell anything, doesn’t judge you, and feels the same way.  It can be an incredible experience for both parties if they are able to find this spiritual companion here on earth.

 

There is a down side to having this connection.  There are times in these relationships when one of the partners doesn’t want the connection and pushes it away.  This can leave the other confused, hurt, and sometimes devastated emotionally.  When neither partner understands what they are experiencing that rejection can be even more of a nightmare. 

 

The physical loss of one of the partners to a mental illness, neurological disorder, and/or to death can also take its toll.  A surviving twin or parent will feel the loss of a dead sibling or child keenly.    

 

There is a precedent for this within most religious traditions.  Among the Hindus and the Buddhists it is seen as a sign of a Karmic or Past Life association, a bond that has built up over the centuries of soul life.  In Judeo-Christian and Muslim world it speaks to the strength and power of the love shared by the people in question.  For Pagan and New Age traditions there is not only the Karmic/Past life connection, but about a soul group connection or soulmate. 

 

For those of you who are scientist there is also a psychological explanation.  The chemistry just exists between two people who happen to be more empathic and intuitive than the general population. All I know is that I’ve seen it in action and can’t help but believe that there is something more to it. 

It is always important to leave Feedback after a call.  That way a reader knows how well they have helped you.  Leaving feedback also helps others to choose a reader.

In talking to my customers one thing that I have found is in choosing a reader they want to know 5 things:

1. If you are a repeat customer what motivated you to call back.

2. Is the reader good at connecting with individuals and situations such that they can describe them accurately and know what's on the mind of the other person?

3.  Is the reader good at hitting on details from your life and being able to put the situation into the context of it.

4. Have past predictions made by the reader come true?

5. Was the reader kind and positive in giving the response?

 

If you can, keeping these things in mind when writing feedback it will be a big help to others

 

I believe in this.  Living in the present IS an important thing.  Understanding that the Past is the past and that Future will take care of itself if you are dealing with present moment.  Today when you walk around the world be aware of it.  Be open to it.  Enjoy the grass, the trees, the flowers and the sunshine.  Take time to listen to the sounds of the world.  The movement toward inner peace is just ahead if you can be open the reality of what is within you.  You have the ability to change yourself.

That's my theme.  I'm going at life full tilt and making happen what needs to happen in it...and you can too!

 

This morning I power walked with my IPod to up songs and tunes...and I meditated.  How did I do that?  I cleared my mind and I focused on myself.  I gave myself up lifting words of praise.   It chanted them over and over in my head and allowed myself to own them. The walk kicked my butt, but I felt great afterward.  

Every evening now I have a quiet meditation were I commune with my spirit guides and listen to soft music.  I give out for all my friends, family, and all those that I help white light.  You can do this too.  Focus on your breathing, deep breaths, with your eyes closed.  Visualize a space filled with white light where you can wrap yourself in it.  Then visualize wrapping all your family and friends in it too. 

It's time to lighten up.  It's time to be the person you want to be.

When calling a psychic advisor it's often true that at times some readers aren't able to read for everyone.  There are also people who come here and aren't open to hearing what the readers have to say.  They will try to guide the readings and will second guess , question, and badger the readers involved, sometimes loud and abusively.  I have had a couple who have done this and any reading I try to do for them is blocked by their negative attitude.  I finally called it quits with one by blocking her from calling me again because I could no longer take her money in good conscious. I knew I was not helping her.  This, of course, led to the standard, "She's a fake" feedback...   

Please understand that it is not my place as an advisor to criticize you.  I am here to tell you what I see and give you an idea of how the world outside you will react if you take certain actions.  I try to be supportive as possible and give you psychic answers to the best of my ability.  As a client getting what you pay for should involve you being ready and open to the experience.  Make note of the following before picking up the phone and requesting a reading:

1. Do you really want to hear the truth?  Are you willing to listen to the advisor even when they tell you something you don't want to here?

2. Are you relaxed and calm enough to be read appropriately

3. Why do you want to know the answers?  What do you want to understand?

Thinking about these things before calling can make for a better experience all around

 

 

One of the risks that I take everyday that I give a reading is that someone will not want to hear what I have to say.  This happens and is occasionally reflected in my feedback.  I feel badly at those times because I know that those individuals have an investment in the responses I have to give as being something that will see their dreams come true.  I know because I have been in this position myself with a reading. 

Unfortunately, I don't always see things the way people want them to be, and I would be doing a disservice to them if I gave them what they wanted to hear. We are meant to take the information from a reading and use it to better our lives.  If the upshot of the reading isn't what you would like then this is the time to prepare for these events and perhaps make them work to your advantage.  It is possible to change the future and make your life move forward in a more positive way. 

Life is not about easy answers.  It's about tough choices and doing what you need to do hang in there.  The universe puts us here to learn more about ourselves and the world we are apart of, and the only expectation is we will make the most of that opportunity.  To not do that means that the lessons we were sent here to learn will have to be picked up again at another time prolonging our ascension into better understanding. 

Don't wait for life to come to you.  Go to life

What kind of details are you expecting in a reading?
When one asks for a general reading please be aware that psychics can't always give you the depth of detail that you want. When you ask specific questions better answers come.  Many readers are not always able to tell you things as specifically as you want to know them.  Some are only able to deal with the energy.  Others actually can tap into thoughts.  Understand that ALL readers are different.


Please be aware that not every psychic is going to see the same thing.
When you decide to talk to more than one reader often times they may not see the same things.  I have had two different readers giving me the different answers to the same question.  Not all readers pick up on the same thing.  Some see the negative, others see the positive, and some see what's in between.  Just because one psychic tells you things that you don't like, doesn't mean that they aren't correct about the person or situation.


What it boils down to is you have to consider what advise you've been given and go with what makes the most sense in the situation, and not what you want to it to be. 

As I look at the pages of my fellow readers, I can't help but notice that their feedback is sometimes rated low because seekers often misunderstand how a reader utilizes his/her gift or some readers are accused of being not psychic because that person wasn't able to make a connection with you.  It suggests that people going into readings with an expectation that isn't realistic.  Here are some points that should be made regarding getting a reading and making the most of that experience.

• How each reader establishes a connection is different, and some readers will be able to establish a better connection with you than others. I've seen seekers question a psychics ability because they ask for names and dates of birth. This just a tool like using the tarot cards to establish a connection.  Not every reader can immediately pick up on your situation.  Some readers may ask questions because when you don't give feedback within the reading they need to be sure they are helping you.  Also it is important to remember that not every reader is right for you.  It's why you should try more than one before you stick with someone.
• Not every readers skills are the same. Some readers are empathic, some aren't.  Some are intuative, some aren't.  Some are good with and rely on the tarot, some aren't and don't.  Some are very good at general readings, some aren't.  When choosing a reader read their page.  Try to get an idea of how they operate.  Be prepared for the fact that some may not be able to give you the answers that you are looking for as they don't have the kind of skills you would like them to have to answer the question.
• Timeframes can't always be accurately predicted. Don't dismiss a reader because the timing is off.  The vast majority of readers at Keen do not claim to be 100% accurate nor should they. The free will of others can and often does interfere.  If a reader is off, don't shot the messanger which is all the reader is.  The reason why the timing is off can usually be because the other person isn't cooperating the way that you would like them to. A reader only sees how things are going right at that moment.  They can change closer to the time things are going to happen. 
• Since not all readers are good at general reading it's best to have an idea of what you want to talk about before hand.   Save yourself time, money, and disappointment by having an agenda of what you want to talk about ahead of time. 
• Your attitude coming into the reading always helps for better experience.  If you are upset sometimes it's difficult for a reader to get a read.  Take time to relax and get calm before you call.  This will save the disappointment when a reader is not able to read you correctly. 

Hopefully these tips will help you have a more enoyable experience with a reader.
