Hello Magnificent Manifestors!!!!
So...uh....Universe? Could you please let me know where my gosh darn money is? I've been asking...and asking...I showed you I was gonna' pay off the house and the car and my credit cards, but you still haven't dropped the check into my hands. What's the deal?
Been there, haven't we? Money, I have found, in most people is trickier a manifestation than love or career or friendship. Here is why...most are convinced that money is something more than paper. Years ago, money was actually a check from the government, given in exchange for gold held in depositories around the country, Ft. Knox, etc. You used to, essentially, go to the government and trade your dollar bill for a dollar's worth of gold, or silver. Well, somewhere down the line, the government decided to just print more money, who's gonna' care? Now, those precious dollars are really not worth much more than the paper they are written on. A package of Postit Notes is worth more than a dollar. Money is, right now, as you read this, flowing through you at the speed of light. Everywhere on earth, satellites are beaming transaction after transaction right through you! What we want to do is just have a chunk of it stick.
To truly understand money, ask the wealthiest people in the world what they think about money. They will tell you several things. First, they look at it as a game. They don't take it too seriously. Donald Trump has been bankrupt twice, and he has still managed to make his billions back. It's fun for him. Bill Gates just joined the board at Berkshire Hathaway, as a favor to Warren Buffet, both men who just like to invest money for people! Second, they will tell you that money is wonderful, but it is the things that money allows them to experience that is important. More time with friends and family. More vacations abroad. More time to think about more things to do. Third, they will tell you they just decided to have money. They decided that it was there to be made. They believed they could do it and they didn't stop until they did (and still haven't stopped for that matter).
Emulate, emulate, emulate. Find out how the wealthiest people in the world think about money, and practice thinking that way whenever you can.
Three things to be wealthy. 1)THERE IS NO SUCH THINGS AS DEBTOR'S PRISON! No matter how bad you think it is, you won't go to jail and you won't die. Everyone has had tough times in the past, and you made it through them, didn't you? Made it through well enough to own a computer to read this on. Make money a game and play like Monopoly. It's supposed to be fun. If you lose, you'll be able to start over and have an even better idea of what you have to do to win. FYI, if you do start to look at it like playing a game, you'll start to win. 2)SPEND, SPEND! Everyday, think about ways that you will spend your money. Think about happy ways that you've spent your money in the past. Think about how you are going to spend any money that you have right now. Find appreciation for the credit companies and car dealer who trusted you enough to lend you the money to buy your stuff. Write thanks on the checks when you send them. Appreciate where you spend you money. Know where you'll spend more when it comes. 3)BE WEALTH. Never again lay blame outside of yourself for money woes. You are the master creator in this game and you make the rules. Think about it...there is no shortage of money out there. The government will print it if it starts to run low. The only shortage is in your mind. You created the entire world around you from your beliefs and like the thoughts you think, your beliefs, and then your creation, can change. Know you have the power. Always take responsibility and forever more you will hold the keys to the vault in your hand.
Sorry so long winded. I love money. Everything about it. Investing it, spending it, creating it, losing it, misplacing it, everything. You can too!
