All Keen advisors know that some clients are easier to do readings with than others...today was an others day... I am sure many if not all who read this know the feeling ofdoing a reading when the client adds their funds minute by minute, in approximately an eleven minute call, it is just like when you are spitting it out, you are once again on hold, they return you do your best to pick up where you left off, they cut you off with another question, do not finish it and once again you are on hold.....blah, blah, blah...it is almost painful, but you get through it, yes, you take a deep breath, you feel better, next client calls....same format...oooohhh, three in a row, I took my dogs out to get a breath of fresh air...I logged back on and cheerfully say hello to the next client, and her question for me is AM I HAPPY, pardon, I WANT TO KNOW IF I AM HAPPY....sure, let me take a look.....blah, blah, blah.....that is it for today, and also HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!
Oy, as I mentioned I enrolled in school...something did not sit well with me about these courses. like going around my ass to get to my elbow...naturally, the counselor assured me this was the path...luckily being an empath that nagging doubt in the back of my head kept twitching...I decided to check things out a little further, and sure enough it was the wrong direction...so, now I must regroup, and reapply, but as always somehow through divine intervention things get worked through and worked out...it may take longer for me to get started, but shorter for me to finish...I am still excited and still keeping my word to myself, which is so important....until then I will deal with all the other insanity going on, that should keep me very busy...the glitches in the Keen system alone can occupy tons of my time...nothing like being stuck on busy, answering the phone and hearing no prompts, the last time they shut down and fixed the site was such a diaster, I do not feel they are fixing, I feel they are tampering. with good intentions of course...I told that to my Dad, the razor sharp 82 year old, he snapped back, the road to hell is paved with good intentions...you go Dad....till.
Well, I have kept my promise to myself, and Ienrolled in school AGAIN for a new degree....the paper work was mind blowing, as I am going to need 100% financial aid...orientation is the 28th, and first class starts November 4th, I enrolled on the 20th, they work quickly...now after I complete this degree it makes me eligable to go back to school for what I really want to do...this should be quite the long interesting road...Gory goals and ultimate achievements to be posted later...see ya after my first week....till...
Those holidays seem to be coming quicker and quicker, you know....Halloween, now blends into Thanksgiving, which blends into Christmas...I have not been to a mall in a long time, but who cannot forget, bascially all the decorations for these holidays are up when the Halloween ones are only half way through...and I do not know why Halloween is made such a fuss over, when I was young it was a big deal, trick or treat...hardly anyone rings your doorbell anymore. People are afraid, the innocence of this world has really been taken away, and it is justified too, but more sad that it has come to this point where parents fear their children will get poison candy, kidnapped, and assorted other gorey things...to all those evil people out there, may it return to you tenfold...let it not spoil the holiday, lets find new ways for our children to celebrate and be happy. Come to think of it, it has become more of an adult holiday and the costume business is booming, I see big warehouses carryiny everykind of costume you can imagine, and as soon as the holiday is over, the warehouse closes and and appears again the next year, must have some wild parties..Adult ones...Well, that covers Halloween, next time lets talk Turkey..ta
Who can ever forget 911, no one I hope...I worked in New York at the time, and as I was getting ready for work the TV was running in the background, and I saw the first plane hit, I thought it was an accident, a little while later another plane hit the other side, this could not be just an accident...so many innocent people never stood a chance, families waiting for a loved one to return home and did not, hospitals on hand with extra supplies and extra staff members to handle all the wounded, hardly anyone showed up.. This is a day of solemn reflection, a day to remember that for the grace of God it could be one of us who are still here to read this....I can't stress enough not to ever forget this horrendous event in American History. America is such a forgiving country, the Japanese bombed us and we ended up rebuilding their country, they should have rebuilt their own country...who rebuilds America...America does...Worst we have still not captured the man who planned this...he is still at large...laughing in our faces...unfortunately, we still buy oil from the Arabs, we need to find other ways to fuel our country and ban them...and even as I type we are at war with them...just pull our young men out, and send the bombers in, throw in North Korea, too...PLEASE DO NOT FORGIVE AND FORGET... I know there is a saying about forgiving is divine...IT DOES NOT APPLY TO THIS...REMEMBERING IS DIVINE...
Well, I am hearing about the swine flu still going on, I had it last year and it was wicket, some flus are worse than others, this one really makes you sick...come to think of it in the past I have dated men and have called them swine and they too made me really sick...hmmm.
As I have blogged in the recent past, now that I am up at 5:30am, I read the news more...so boring...but, there are some articles that catch my eye, and I like to share...this morning I read that sewing is coming back, I never knew it left let alone came back...yes more about the recession and how people are coping...so sewing is part of coping...Oy....How many of you sew, you know, get the patterns, cut, pin, run to the sewing machine and knock out an outfit...I do not know anyone...if you are out there hollar bacik...I admire anyone with these skills..Growing up I had an Aunt who was an avid sewer, even men's suits, matching those seams must have been quite a challenge. I was only ten, I guess I took it for granted...I lived in Hillsville, Virginia for a year located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, talk about a fish out of water, I mean I used to go to Greenwhich Village every weekend...there is absolutely nothing in Hillsville, the only restaurant they had was Shoneys, and under the sign it said WHERE BUSES ARE WELCOMED...I was instantly underwhelmed, and I was on the money with that thought...about two years ago my parents were returning to Florida from Connecticut, and somehow they ended up in Hillsville, they were so excited to tell me when they got home, my father as I have mentioned in the pass is a real pisser, 82 does not miss a beat..he told me, we went to Shoneys, God help them...he said it was horrible and when they were sitting in the booth a very large woman with no teeth was barreling through the aisle with her grandson, saying hurry grandma, that was not the point, it was the no teeth hillbillies...lol...he was amazed I survived a whole year there, I am amazed, too..I had to throw that in...back to the sewing, all they had was a Walmart, of course, that was all they had...I was trying to find my way around in there, at that point I had never been inside a Walmart and did not realize basically they were all set up the same....however, this one had a huge sewing department, all kinds of sewing machines, and bundles of material, and books of patterns, etc. I was in shock, then I realized where I was and it all made perfect sense, if I was hearing cows moowing, I certainly can hear sewing machines buzzing...but, it is making a return even in urban places...I personally if forced to start sewing have decided to get the machine for dummies, it does everything, even threads itself...forget clothes, I would be going for decorative pillows, gold braiding, tassels, round, square, after looking at catalogs for bedding with throw pillows, and other places for them, I see they cost up to 300.00 for some of these pillows...not bad, oooh, maybe a hobby...again, just sharing....till...
Me thinks not, it has remained on the grocery shelves for years, maybe even the same can, yes, it's Spam... Who thinks of Spam, I bet hardly anyone. Folklore has it that at one time it was very popular, for some unknown reason the demand for Spam dwindled. I can understand that, thinking back, I am sure it was my second husband, who by the way was born in Italy, which makes it more strange, you had to be there...We went food shopping and he dropped it in the carriage, it never appealed to me, maybe because it came in this can that had its own key to unwrap it, as if in case you were stranded on a desert island, you could still get it open, same goes for anchovies, another favorite on the shelves...now for the discovery, once you unraveled the key to open it, it came out coated in some kind of gook or gel or something, then you scrape that off and there is this little chunk of compressed ground ham, I think, the second husband really wanted a spam sandwich, lets shoot for the stars and make it on Wonderbread, so, I make the sandwich, yuck, and I asked him if he would like mayo or mustard on it, he said no I like it plain I do not want to spoil the taste, he even made me fry it once, no oil in the pan needed, and when cooked it becomes even more salty....I think when people decided to eat healthy, it dropped in popularity, but now I read in this recession it is gaining ground again...maybe canned sardines willl make a comeback, they have that same type of ration packaging... Actually, spam has taken on a new meaning in the last few years, it is a word in the mail section of your computer, it is where mail you do not want goes, that said, these two spams have the same thing in common, they are both still junk... There are so many new junk foods out there to explore, unless you are having an intense bout of nostaglia, and since Mercury is retrodgrade that is a very good possibity...Ciao or is that Chow...
OMG, I just took the dogs out, it is also a park, al lttle Pomerian was barking at my dogs and of course my Pug being a blind alpha dog, was barking back, I finally dragged her away and went on my way...the cars coming down this street are doing 90, it always scares me when I take my dogs across the street....on my way back I was just chilling, of course, Jane the beast was out...anyway, the little dog from across the street started to bark and run across and there was a car flying down the street at the same time, luckily mys screaming skills are primo, the dog went under the front bumper, the tire just missed her, I was watching a nightmare, I had my dogs and could not let go, I was trying to get the other dog, the people came running and got their dog, her leash was still stuck under the car, the girl driving the car was frozen with fear, my heart was racing, I mean she escaped death by a moment...I am still shook up, if I saw thet minature Pomerian get killed, I would not be able to deal with it....I have a big soft spot for animals, they all thanked me for being such a good screamer, but, really I do not think they realized how close she came to death, they said she is a smart dog, smart dog, smart does not count, she was sliding sideways and her leash was trapping her...it has a happy ending, however, this really rattled my nerves...about four weeks ago another man who lives in this complex was walking his dog, I asked where is your other dog, he said she was running across the street after another dog and a car killed her, I felt so bad and still do, and all I could think of is history repeating itself...I am sure Jane was disappointed it was not my dog... Another stopper today was when I took the dogs out at 6am, yes I overslept, I saw what I thought was mist on the river, thought it would be a damp day, I looked a little further down, and I realized it was smoke from a fire, there were about 8 firetrucks 3or 4 police cars...and black smoke billowing out of some building, when I was just out there with the dog incident, I looked over and you would never know there was a fire there this morning and such commotion....Jane informed the man next door it was the flower shop...I saw it and did not know what was burning...since everybodies business is her business I was not surprised she knew...still panting...the end...
To pass time at 6am this fine morning, I decided to read the news. I found an interesting articale about the recent space shuttle, going into space is old news now, however, the thing that really struct me was all the astronuts commented on how delieious the food is. That is the last comment I would expect to hear. They said they had food that was Russian, Canadian, Chinese, and I forgot the last once, no one mentioned the United State of America. I am sure we must have sent something. The astronuts said there was something for everyone, how exciting. Somehow, it reminded me of the Food Court at the Mall, all those international foods displayed in those siliver dishwarmers none of them looking very appealing but the place is loaded, everyone chowing down, personally I past, but for all who enjoy the up above, to each his own..Okay thats a take. Cut.
Since the condo associiation has ruled pets must be walked across the street¬ inyour own private back yard. I mean they poop, I pick it right up, however, for now those days are gone, notice I said for now...the lunatic next door has been adamant about me taking my dogs across the street, the more discord she creates, the more empowered she feels...as soon as I took the dogs across the street I thought this will shut her up, WRONG, next thing I know I am getting notes on my garage door and front door, aha, she found something new to bitch about..I realized it was always going tobesomething until she leaves,I trottedto my lawyers office and said this has got to stop...he called her to see if we could mediate, why did he say that, I do not want to talk to her, anyway, she was outraged by the call, so he wrote a follow up letter, last I recall she did try to run me down in the parking lot, but no more notes, and finally she does not speak to me...glory be, or is that gory be...I even hired apart time dog walker, for some reason this was like a burr under her saddle, her being the horse of course...and for those of you who remember this era, she is Eleanor Roosevelt's twin sister...anywho Plain Jane, yes her real name is Jane decides to get in her car &drive across the street to harrass the walker, WHAT IS YOUR NAME, WHERE DO YOU LIVE, DO YOU OWN A CONDO HERE, I AM GOING TO REPORT YOU TO MANAGEMENT, THE WOMAN SAID SHE WOULD REPORT HERSELF...FINALLY, MANAGEMENT IS CONVINCED SHE IS MENTALLY ILL, ABOUT TIME. However, the dog walker now does not know if she can continue, back to the lawyer, back to management, she has every right to walk the little guys....I was doing it twice aday and she was doing it twice a day....for now I am doing it all day...Yes indeed, I was out there at 5:30am walking them, just me and the last stars and street lights before Dawn breaks... I come in and hop on line, I was on at 6am and did not realize I was still on arrange a call until 7:45....DUH...there were definitely clouds in my coffee..and the beat goes on..
Honestly, I took my dogs to the groomer today with an open mind...thinking the results would be positive....WRONG...the Pug was a cinch, she even had her teeth brushed and a blueberry face mask, now we get to the Maltese, I take one look and I tell the man I hate it, yes HATE the way they cut her hair, he informs me the groomer went home and he is not allowed to use sissors...if I had a pair I would have stabbed him...it cost 99.00 for the two of them, and they gave the Maltese a mullett...Yes, I know I am a very fussy person, for that price I can afford to be...but it is totally unacceptable...everytime I looked at her my stomach churned....finally I went and got the sissors and cut it myself, no easy task, as she is not sitting still for anymore cutting, luckily I cut my 2 sons hair growing up, so I am used to cutting hair on moving targets. It is 98% better but it stiill needs tweaking, it will have to wait until tomorrow,my nerves are shot. He told me to come back tomorrow, maybe, ha! MAYBE, she would have time to fix it...24 hours, I could never wait that long looking at a dog with a mullett...but, she will hear from me..the next time I go to a groomer I will be writing instructions down...if I could do it myself I would, but the shaving part and clipping toenails rattles my nerves, and since I work on line, my nerves are already rattled..need I say more...oh, and for anyone who is disturbed by those eye boogers, take heart, go on line there is a product called Angel Eyes, you sprinkle it on their food and this eliminates the problem...till
Obviously, I have not been in a blogging mood, I mean everyday is still DRAMA.COM, but I was not in the mood to record it, hmmm, just living it was enough... My father reminded me of this incident a month ago when he was up here visiting, this is not the incident, it is a subplot, when my parents arrived they decided to sit in my newly landscaped worked my ass off to get the money backyard, of course, as expected, the beast next door came flying out when we sat down, and started to pretend to water her flowers, my father looked at me and rolled his eyes, I gave him the smug I told you so look...SO, HE SAYS TO ME REALLY LOUD, WHEN YOU OWNED THAT HOUSE IN FLORIDA, NOT THE THIRD ONE THE SEVENTH, DIDN'T IT HAVE AN OLYMPIC SIZE POOL, I CHIRPED UP, AND TWO CABANAS, WITH A SHOWER, AS I DID NOT WANT ANYONE TO BRING GRASS IN THE HOUSE, HE MENTIONED I SOLD IT FOR A LITTLE OVER A MILLION DOLLARS, THE MARKET WAS GREAT THAN, AND I REPLIED THAT I MADE A HANDSOME PROFIT, ETC. ETC. ETC.,THIS WAS ALL BS FOR HER BENEFIT, SHE COULD NOT DRAG HER EARS AWAY FROM THE FENCE..LOL....HA, HA, HA...back to the original plot, he reminded me of a time he was visiting several years ago, and my son decided it was time for Gramps and Grandma to go for sushi....OMG, he takes him to a place called Fugi Mountain, they even sat in the seats that your legs go through, as my son and his wife were pigging out on the sushi, my parents just watched, they could not think beyond raw fish or and eel...my son and his wife must have really gorged themselves as the tab came to 147.00, tip not included, after he told me the story, he added, your mother and I had to stop at McDonalds on the way home to get something to eat...oh, to have been a fly on the wallenda...over and out.....

Since I moved to this condo, I have not had time to write....I am still dealing with Raspukesa next door, or maybe Shrek's sister....Hmmmm.

I was sleeping this morning, it was quite early, I heard voices getting louder, I have had the Flu, so, I thought I was dreaming, as the voices escalated, I started to realize it was outside my window, and the loudest voice was saying it is time you bought a house, needless to say, I did not have to look out the window, but I do believe it was the other woman telling the Ogarest, it was time to move to a house, somewhere in a place like Montana, poor Montana, or Wyoming, poor Wyoming, or we can vote a 52nd state and ship her there....I did not even bother to get out of bed...my blind little black pug was holling, the pitch was killing her ears....the cat was calmly checking his nails to see if they were at a point where he could rip her throat out....and she hates cats, I am going to start feeding the strays....that should piss her off, and gosh golly I can feel a Condo Committee letter in my mail already...she was gone for two weeks, it was heaven...I thought about boiling chicken and turkey bones and throwing them in front of her door to greet her on her arrival home, however, I realize I only eat boneless....I will save it for the future...and add in chalk VOODOO..

I am waiting for my insulated window treatments for my bedroom, they are three inches thick, mounted on the outside (of the window that is)...and they are plantation shutters with slats in Faux that are two and a half inches wide...they serve two purposes, to keep the blaring sun out and the bellowing out.....I am counting the days till they arrive...

Moving on, I went to check my mail, and another neighbor approached me and was trying to bum a couple of cans a cat food from me, I do not have cans, and I was replused that she had the nerve to ask me....how low can you go....we get beyond that and she starts to tell me about the racoons and cats fighting at eleven at night, do I hear them, no I sleep on the other side, she leaves, and it reminds me of a story about my dead husband, he worked 4 to 12, and he would go out and have a smoke before bed...in the morning he told me he was smoking and something brushed up against him in the dark, he looked down and it was a skunk, before I can say a word, he blurts out, he was a good looking skunk, sure, wonder if he sprayed him what he would have said, I know one thing, he would not have come into the house...one sprayed my son's pit bull, Oh God, what a smell, and gallons of tomatoe juice later, he still had to go to the vet....PU....

Over and Out....

Today, my washer and dryer and stove were delivered....I love the color red of the washer and dryer, however, the dryer had three big chips on top and I refused it, they are sending another, the fawcett is leaking, I must get a plumber so I can try out the washer, just a small bump in the road, also, the plumber must hook up the stove...

Now that I have come down to earth, I wish I got the most simple models, some wash, some steam, this does both, you need special detergent the washer uses very little water....I can see myself reading the manuel several times before attempting to wash a load of clothes...I have been going to the laundry mat for 10 years, I think that is why I got carried away...I have a steam mop and I love it, the floors are dry when you are done....I hope I love the appliances as much...

I felt tired just looking at them, and I know the beast next door was spying on what was going on, the last time I had a plummer here, she called the condo association and told them I put a gas dryer in and she feared I would blow her house up in the middle of the night, when I told the head of the condo association I did not even have a washer or dryer she burst out laughing, after reviewing it,. it is funny, the woman living in fear of me blowing her up in the middle of the night because I have a gas dryer, you know, I could just as well blow her up in the middle of the day....what an appealing idea.....I ended up with a electric dryer, maybe I could blow her up with that too....I did get a gas stove, if she ever feels the need to put her head in it, she is welcome to use it any time....she is a very nosey, meddling woman, I get constant letters complaining about me, things I have never even done, so I must continuously call to defend myself and straighten out any and all fairy tales she concocts....she is rude, and she lumbers instead of walks.....I think she is left over from a Stephen King movie...."IT."

Hopefully, she will calm down, as I am here to stay, and I am a very quiet neighbor, and she is so LOUD.....I hate LOUD....I guess she has a complex about being heard....not to worry she definitely can be seen....too..

She is out there gardening, she told the man who works for me, the mayor comes to see her flowers every year, I have decided to call a landscaper and get a blueprint of a garden and shrubs, I feel her eating her heart out now, I can't wait to post her reaction to that....

till......
